Abstract

ในอดีตทีมีการคมนาคมทางน้ำเป็นหลัก ทำให้นครสวรรค์เป็นเมืองริมน้ำที่มีความสำคัญ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ในด้านการค้า ทั้งในระดับท้องถิ่น ระดับภาค และระดับประเทศ เนื่องจากที่ตั้งของเมืองซึ่งเป็นจุดเชื่อมโยงระหว่างภาคกลางและภาคเหนือ ส่งผลให้พื้นที่ริมน้ำของเมืองมีความเจริญเป็นอย่างมาก กระทั่งการคมนาคมทางด้านอื่น ๆ ได้ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นมาในกายหลัง จนทำให้การสัญจรทางน้ำลดความสำคัญลง ทำให้พื้นที่ริมน้ำของเมืองนครสวรรค่ในปัจจุบันเปลี่ยนจากการเป็นหน้าบ้านของเมือง กลายมาเป็นหลังบ้าน ซึ่งไม่ได้รับการดูแลรักษา และขาดการพัฒนาให้อยู่ในสภาพอันควร จุดประสงค์ของการศึกษานี้มุ่งเน้นในการศึกษาความเป็นมาของเมือง ปัญหาที่มีอยู่ ตลอดจนสภาพของเมืองตั้งแต่อดีตจนกึงปัจจุบัน เพื่อนำมาใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ รวมทั้งนำเสนอแนวทางในการแก้ปัญหาของพื้นที่ริมน้ำเมืองนครสวรรค์โดยคำนึงถึงความสัมพันธ์ในระดับพื้นที่ศึกษา ระดับเมือง ระดับภาค จนถึงระดับประเทศ โดยเริ่มจากการศึกษาถึงภาพรวมในการพัฒนาเมือง ความเชื่อมโยงกับเมืองต่าง ๆ และการใช้ที่ดินเละวิถีชีวิตในอดีต ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ยุค เพื่อเป็นพื้นฐาน ความรู้ความเข้าใจในการศึกษาชุมชนริมน้ำนครสวรรค์ ได้แก่ ยุคอดีตซึ่งมีการคมนาคมทางน้ำเป็นหลัก และยุคเปลี่ยนแปลงซึ่งการคมนาคมทางด้านอื่นได้เริ่มเข้ามามีบทบาทต่อเมือง รวมทั้งการศึกษายุคปัจจุบันในด้านภาพรวมการพัฒนาเมือง อาณาเขตเมือง ลักษณะทางภูมิศาสตร์ บทบาทและความสำคัญของเมืองทั้งระดับเมืองและระดับภาค การเชื่อมโยง และการใช้ที่ดินในช่วงต่าง ๆ จากนั้นจึงได้ทำการแบ่งพื้นที่ศึกษาออกเป็น 7 พื้นที่และวิเคราะห์พื้นที่ต่าง ๆ อย่างละเอียดในด้านการใช้ที่ดินและวิถีชีวิต การสัญจร รวมทั้งข้อสังเกตที่สำคัญ เพื่อนำมาสรุปเป็นสภาพปัจจุบันของพื้นที่ริมน้ำ และใช้เป็นข้อมูลไนการสังเคราะห์สภาพการใช้พื้นที่ริมน้ำ รวมทั้งนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาพื้นที่ริมน้ำต่อไป จากการศึกษา ทำให้สามารถสรุปได้ว่า พื้นที่ริมน้ำเมืองนครสวรรค์ควรได้รับการพัฒนา โดยเน้นให้มีการใช้พื้นที่ริมน้ำอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ มีการเข้าถึงที่สะดวก ปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ให้มีความเชื่อมโยงที่ดีระหว่างเมืองและแม่น้ำ เพื่อ สนับสนุนให้เห็นถึงคุณค่าของแม่น้ำที่มีต่อเมืองและประเทศ รวมทั้งการปรับปรุงพื้นที่ในบริเวณต่าง ๆ ให้เหมาะสมกับการ ใช้งาน โดยในแต่ละพื้นที่จะมีแนวทางการพัฒนาที่แตกต่างกันออกไปตามลักษณะเฉพาะของพื้นที่ในบริเวณต่าง ๆ ให้มีความสอดคล้องกับสภาพการใช้งานในปัจจุบันและแนวโน้มการใช้ที่ดินในอนาคตของแต่ละพื้นที่

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

In the past, as water transportation played a major role. Nakhon Sawan was an important riverside town, particularly of both iocal arid regional commerce. Also, because of its location, Nakhon Sawan was a linkage between the central and northern regions and its riverfront was consequenty much developed. However, since other modes of transportation was developed, there has been ล decrease in water transportation’s importance and there is also ล chance in the waterfront—a backyard where suitable care and development is lacking faces the river instead of the front. This study IS aimed at studying the town’s evolution, problems and its state from the past to present to be used for data analysis and synthesis. It is also aimed at proposing guidelines to solve the problems in agreement with the study area in relation to its role in the town, region and country levels. This study is earned out by studying an overview of the study area's urban development, linkage with other towns, land use and ways of life in the past. During this period, it could be divided into 2 eras : the past era when water was a main transportation mode and the transitional era when other transportation modes played an important role to the town. Next, the present overview of Its urban development, boundary, geographical characteristics, roles, and importance of both town and reginal levels, linkage and land use of each period is studied. Then, the study area is divided into 7 zones to analyse the land use, transportation, and major observations of each zone to present the existing stale of the river front and to synthesize the use of the nverfront as well as to propose guidelines for riverfront development. According to the study, it could be concluded that the development of Nakhon Sawan s river front should be focused on the efficient use of the riverfront, convenient access, and improvements of the landscape for the good linkage between the town and the river to promode the value of the nver to the town and country. There should also be improvements in each zone due to its activities. The proposed development guidelines in each area shall vary from one to another due to its particular characteristics in accordance with the present activities and the future irend of land use of each zone.
