Abstract
The amount of cross border trade may be less significant in comparison to the international trade position of Thailand. However it is of paramount importance not only to the economic of provinces along the border lines but also to the living of the people in the neighboring countries. This article presents the cross border that processed in accordance with the customs formality of the important economic gateways of Thailand namely Chiangrai, Tak, Nongkhai, Sakeaw and Songkhla. The article consists of 3 parts, the international trade between Thailand and her neighboring countries; the cross border trade between Thailand and her neighboring countries; and the problems of cross border trade.(การค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศเพื่อนบ้านแม้จะมีปริมาณไม่มากนักเมื่อ เทียบกับปริมาณการค้าระหว่างประเทศของไทย แต่มีความสำคัญกับเศรษฐกิจของจังหวัดต่าง ๆ ที่ อยู่ตามแนวชายแดน และชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน บทความนี้มีวัตถุ-ประสงค์ที่จะเสนอสภาพการค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้านในจังหวัดชาย แดนที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ เชียงราย ตาก หนองคาย สระแก้ว และสงขลา การค้าชายแดนที่กล่าวถึงเป็น การค้าในระบบที่ผ่านพิธีการศุลกากร เนื้อหาของบทความแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ส่วน คือ การค้าระหว่าง ประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน การค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน และ ปัญหาอุปสรรคของการค้าชายแดน)
