Abstract

การสำรวจการใช้บริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศในห้องสมุดวิทยาลัยศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีวัตถุ ประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์แบบบันทึกการใช้บริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศของผู้ใช้บริการห้องสมุดวิทยาศาสตร์สาธารณสุข ระหว่างวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2549 ถึง วันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2552 จำนวน 158 รายการ ในด้านหัวเรื่องที่ต้องการสืบค้น วัตถุประสงค์การใช้ สารสนเทศ แหล่งสนเทศที่เป็นคำตอบ และช่องทางการรับบริการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้รับบริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศส่วนใหญ่คือ อาจารย์ ร้อยละ 48.7 วัตถุประสงค์หลักในการสืบค้นสารสนเทศ คือ เพื่อการทำวิจัย ร้อยละ 42.4 กลุ่มเนื้อหาหัวเรื่องของข้อคำถามที่ผู้รับบริการสืบค้นมากที่สุดคือ ด้านนโยบายสุขภาพและบริหารจัดการซึ่งรวมเรื่องการป้องกันและควบคุม เฝ้าระวัง ระบาดวิทยา โรคติดต่อ และโรคไม่ติดต่อ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 41 ผู้รับบริการส่วนใหญ่ต้องการเอกสารฉบับเต็ม ร้อยละ 96.2 โดยช่องทางการขอรับบริการคือ การส่งจดหมายอิเล็กทรอนิกส์มายังบรรณารักษ์ ร้อยละ 48.7 แหล่งสารสนเทศที่เป็นคำตอบสำหรับการให้บริการสืบค้นของบรรณ-รักษ์ คือสารสนเทศบนอินเทอร์เน็ต ร้อยละ 31 The research aims to study the use of online searching and information services in the College of Public Health Science Library, Chulalongkorn University, by analyzing 158 search request forms collected between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2009 in terms of the needed subject headings, searching objectives, information sources as answers for online searching, and service channels. The results reveal that the majority of users are faculty members (48.7%). The main reason for using this service reported mostly by users was for research-related purpose (42.4%). The most frequently requested subject headings were health policy and management, prevention and control, surveillance, epidemiology. And communicable and non-communicable diseases (41%). The majority of users preferred full-text documents (96.2%) Requesting via email to librarians was mostly reported as the preferred service channel (48.7%). Internet was the major source of information (31%).
