Abstract
ปัจจุบันบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษากำลังเผชิญกับแรงกดดันและความท้าทายรูปแบบต่าง ๆ มากมาย การพิจารณาหาแนวทางที่เหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับสภาพสังคม เพื่อรับมือกับสภาวการณ์เช่นนี้ จึงเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ในการประชุม ALSR 2010 นักการศึกษาด้านบรรณารักษศาสตร์และสารนิเทศศาสตร์ และบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดม ศึกษาจากภูมิภาคต่าง ๆ ได้ร่วมกันสะท้อนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับวิกฤติการณ์ดังกล่าวและนำเสนอแนวทางในการจัดการปัญหาจากประสบการณ์และงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง Academic librarians are now facing different kinds of challenges and pressure. Therefore, it is necessary for the librarians to come up with appropriate means to cope with these situations. In the ALSR 2010 conference, library and information science educators and academic librarians from various regions provide perspectives on such crisis and present solution to the problems from their experiences and related literature.
