Abstract

Background: In light of the growing mental health problems around the world, it is imperative to examine and understand the factors contributing to these problems along with ways to promote wellness and improved mental health.

Method: This is an invited commentary.

Results: Six contributing factors to mental health challenges are discussed, along with six paths to wellness and four policy recommendations.

Conclusion: A collaborative approach involving individuals, families, communities, and policymakers is crucial for improving mental health conditions globally, particularly among youths who are the future of all nations.
