Abstract
A Thai recitation has itself magnificent pattern which gives the learners meaningful lessons and shows the neatly composing style. The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008) assign the student to memorise and tell the value of the recitations prescribed, and the value of valuable verses in line with their interests and use them as references. In actual the teacher only assign student to memory the recitation but lack of activities to enhance the ability of students memories. The purpose of this article is to present a Thai recitation which is applied with memory instructional model in order to enhance ability of recitation and realize the worth of recitation. The activity is to enhance students to memory recitation ?Bot Pak Arawan?that is implemented in this research. The result showed that the students are able to memorise the recitation within the prescribed period of time and was presented to teacher for applying this activity to be appropriate with their students. Learning of the memorization strategies model encourage learners to apply the strategies on their study effectively beside the memory recitation is inherit the cultural heritage of the nation.(บทอาขยานภาษาไทยเป็นบทประพันธ์ที่มีคุณค่า เพราะแสดงเนื้อหา ข้อคิดที่มีประโยชน์ และ/หรือ แสดงกลวิธีการประพันธ์อันประณีต หลักสูตรแกนกลางกลางศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานพุทธศักราช 2551 กําหนดให้นักเรียนท่องจําบทอาขยานทุกระดับชั้น เพื่อให้เข้าใจในคุณค่าของบทอาขยานและสามารถนําไปใช้อ้างอิงได้จากการศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน พบว่า ครูผู้สอนโดยมากมอบหมายให้นักเรียนท่องจําบทอาขยานแต่มิได้จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนท่องจําอย่างเพียงพอ บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนําเสนอกิจกรรม การท่องจําบทอาขยานภาษาไทย โดยประยุกต์ใช้รูปแบบการสอนแบบเน้นความจําเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการท่องจําบทอาขยานและความตระหนักรู้ในคุณค่าของบทอาขยานที่ท่องจํา ผู้เขียนได้ยกตัวอย่างกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อท่องจําบทอาขยานเรื่อง ?บทพากย์เอราวัณ? ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ที่ได้ทดลองใช้และพบว่านักเรียนสามารถท่องจําอาขยานได้ภายในเวลาที่กําหนด เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกสําหรับครูให้นําไปประยุกต์ใช้ให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของนักเรียนแต่ละแห่งต่อไป การเรียนรู้กลวิธีการท่องจําของตนเองจะทําให้ผู้เรียนสามารถนํากลวิธีการท่องจําที่มีประสิทธิภาพไปใช้ให้เป็นประโยชน์ในการศึกษาต่อไป นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นการสืบทอดมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่สําคัญของชาติไว้ให้คงอยู่สืบไป)
