Abstract

Odontoma is a benign tumor of odontogenic origin. Very large odontomas of maxilla and mandible are less common. This report described 3 patients who first came to see the dentists complaint of facial deformities. After radiographic check up, showed a large radiopaque mass which was irregular in shape at molar-ramus region of the mandible. The opaque mass was equal in density to enamel and was bordered with thin radiolucent zone. The microscopic examination noted the result that it was complex composite odontoma which needed total surgical removal.(Complex Composite odontoma ที่มีขนาดใหญ่มาก 3 ราย ที่กระดูก ขากรรไกรล่างตรงบริเวณ molar retro molar ในผู้ชายสองราย เป็นที่ข้างซ้ายหนึ่งราย และข้างขวาหนึ่งราย ส่วนผู้หญิงอีกหนึ่งรายเป็นที่ข้างขวา ทั้งหมดมีการบวมของใบหน้าอย่างเห็นได้ชัดและเป็นมานาน อายุ 25, 22 และ 20 ปี การรักษาในผู้ชายผ่าตัดเอากระดูกขากรรไกรออกร่วมไปกับการปลูกกระดูกซึ่งเอามาจาก Iliact crest ส่วนในผู้หญิง ทําการผ่าตัดเอากระดูกขากรรไกรด้านที่เป็นออกไปบางส่วน)
