Abstract

Thirty-three cases of central ossifying fibroma or 1.30% from total biopsy 3187 cases are found in oral pathology department, school of dentistry, Chulalong- korn University for the study of pathologic and clinical condition. The lesion is most often seen in young adult and particularly women. The most chief complaint is swelling. The average times of lesion are two years and seven months. The highest incidence of these lesion is in the premolar-molar region of mandible. The most commonly roentgen appearance is the mixture of radiolucency and radiodensity. Total enucleation is recommended for the choice fo treatment and usually is no recurrence.
