Abstract
The adenomatoid odontogenic tumor is one of those benign tumors which are formed in odontogenic tissue or originated from the epithelial lining of odontogenic cyst. This is a case report of a 12 years old Thai boy who visited a dentist with the enlargement at his left ala of the nose for 2 weeks. The clinical preoperative diagnosis was dentigerous cyst. Surgical enucleation was performed under general anesthesia. No recurrence has been found after surgical removal for a 20 month follow up period. The healing process was found to be satisfactory. The surgical tissue sample was sent for histopathological examination and the diagnosis was adenomatoid odontogenic tumor.
