Abstract

An uncommon case of ameloblastic fibroma in the mandible of a 10 years old boy is presented. The patient has history of swelling of the lower left mandible. Radiologic examination reveal the presense of radiolucent lesion around the deciduous teeth #73, #74 and involve embeded tooth #33. Enucleation is the treatment of choice, but due to high recurrent rate and malignancy change, the tumor needs close longterm follow up. (รายงานผู้ป่วยเด็กอายุ 10 ปี ที่มีเนื้องอกอะมีโลบลาสติกไฟโบรมาในกระดูกขากรรไกรล่างซึ่งพบได้ไม่บ่อยนัก โดยมีอาการบวมของกระดูกขากรรไกรล่างเล็กน้อย จากภาพรังสีพบมีลักษณะเงากระดูกโปร่งรังสี ลักษณะคล้ายถุงน้ำเดียวรอบปลายรากของฟันน้ำนม # 73 และ # 74 เชื่อมต่อกับเยื่อหุ้มฟัน # 33 ข้อแนะนําในการรักษาโดยการทําศัลยกรรมควักออก และต้องติดตามการรักษาเป็นเวลานาน ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากเกิดเป็นซ้ำได้สูง และเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นมะเร็งได้)
