Abstract
Electromyograph (EMG) is the equipment used for recording the electrical activity (action potential) of muscles. It is very useful in dentistry and medicine for diagonosis of muscle dysfunction in any striated muscles. This paper gives details on the equipments and techniques which are employed together with the EMG machine, i.e. electrodes, amplifiers, and recording devices.
