Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสุขภาพจิตและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ในนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยทำการเก็บข้อมูลในภาคการศึกษาปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2556 จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด 993 คน โดยวิธี Stratified Random Sampling ตามสัดส่วนของจำนวนนิสิตในแต่ละคณะ แยกตามเพศ โดยเครื่องมือ ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับข้อมูลทั่วไปของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง และ Thai Mental Health Indicator ( TMHI-66) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์ ได้แก่ Chi-square, t-test และ Logistic Regression Analysisผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่1 ส่วนใหญ่ (ร้อยละ 41.2) มีสุขภาพจิตอยู่ในระดับเทียบเท่ากับบุคคลทั่วไป โดยมีนิสิตร้อยละ 38.9 ที่มีสุขภาพจิตอยู่ในระดับดีกว่าบุคคลทั่วไป และมีนิสิตร้อยละ 19.9 ที่มีสุขภาพจิตอยู่ในระดับต่ำกว่าบุคคลทั่วไป โดยปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องสุขภาพจิตอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ได้แก่ เพศ ช่วงอายุที่เข้าเรียนปี 1 กลุ่มสาขาวิชา ภูมิลำเนา ค่าใช้จ่ายที่ได้รับต่อเดือน ความเพียงพอของค่าใช้จ่ายที่ได้รับ สถานที่พักอาศัย ความพึงพอใจในที่พักอาศัย ความสัมพันธ์ภายในครอบครัว ปัญหาสุขภาพของผู้ปกครอง รายได้เฉลี่ยของครอบครัว ความเพียงพอของรายได้ครอบครัว ความสัมพันธ์กับเพื่อนๆในมหาวิทยาลัย จำนวนเพื่อนสนิทหรือกลุ่มเพื่อน การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยและคณะ และความพึงพอใจในคณะที่ศึกษา

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The objectives of this study were to examine the mental health and associated factors among first-year undergraduate students in Chulalongkorn university. The data was collected from 993 first-year undergraduate students during their second semester in an academic year of 2013. Self-report questionnaires that were used in the study included: 1) Personal and academic information, and 2) Thai Mental Health Indicators (TMHI-66). Univariate and Multivariate analysis was used to determine the associated factors with mental health among these students. This study found that most of the students (41.2%) had a moderate level of mental health, while 38.9 % and 19.9% had the high and the low level of mental health, respectively. From univariate analysis, there are 16 factors associated with mental health among these students; gender, age, field of study, hometown, monthly budget, adequacy of budget, accommodation, satisfaction in their accommodation, relationship within their family, their parents' health status, family income, adequacy of their family income, relationship among classmates, number of friends, participation in university and faculty extra-curricular activities, and satisfaction in their faculty.
