Abstract

ศึกษาเจตคติต่อเรื่องสิทธิผู้ป่วยและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องของแพทย์และพยาบาล ในสถาบันจิตเวชศาสตร์สมเด็จเจ้าพระยา เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นแพทย์และพยาบาล จำนวน 194 คนเป็นผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามด้วยตนเอง เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง แบบทดสอบบุคลิกภาพ The Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI) และแบบประเมินเจตคติต่อเรื่องสิทธิผู้ป่วย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน Chi-square test และ Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1. แพทย์และพยาบาล ส่วนใหญ่คิดเป็น 55.1% มีเจตคติต่อเรื่องสิทธิผู้ป่วยอยู่ในระดับ ปานกลาง 2. ปัจจัยข้อมูลทั่วไปที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับเจตคติต่อเรื่องสิทธิผู้ป่วยคือ ตำแหน่งในการปฏิบัติงานและความเจ็บป่วยทางจิต มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยจิตแพทย์มีเจตคติอยู่ในระดับมากกว่าแพทย์สาขาอื่น และพยาบาลวิชาชีพมีเจตคติอยู่ในระดับมากกว่าพยาบาลเทคนิคหรือเจ้าหน้าที่ พยาบาล แพทย์และพยาบาลที่ไม่มีความเจ็บป่วยทางจิตมีเจตคติอยู่ในระดับมากกว่า แพทย์และพยาบาลที่มีความเจ็บป่วยทางจิต 3. ปัจจัยเกี่ยวข้องด้านระดับการศึกษา และบุคลิกภาพแบบมั่นคงและอ่อนไหวทางอารมณ์ (Scale-N) มีความสัมพันธ์กับเจตคติต่อเรื่องสิทธิผู้ป่วยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .01 โดยแพทย์และพยาบาลที่มีการศึกษาสูง มีเจตคติอยู่ในระดับมากกว่าแพทย์และพยาบาล ที่มีระดับการศึกษาที่ต่ำกว่า ส่วนแพทย์และพยาบาลที่มีบุคลิกภาพแบบมั่นคงทางอารมณ์ (stability) มีเจตคติอยู่ในระดับมากกว่าแพทย์และพยาบาล ที่มีบุคลิกภาพแบบอ่อนไหวทางอารมณ์ (neuroticism)

To survey the attitudes toward patients' rights and associated factors of physicians and nurses in Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry. The research subjects included 194 physicians and nurses work at Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry. The instruments were three sets of self rating questionnaires dealing with general data and associated factors, The Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI) and attitudes toward patients' rights. Data analysis was performed by percentage, means, standard deviations, Chi-square test and Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient. Major findings were the following : 1.Attitudes toward patients' rights of physicians and nurses were at moderate level (55.1%).2.Personal factors that had statistically significant relationship with attitudes toward patients' rights were profession and psychiatric illness. These physicians and nurses who were psychiatrists and professional nurses had attitudes in high level more than other groups. Not having psychiatrics illness group had better attitudes than those of physicians and nurses who have psychiatric illness at .05 level. 3.Associated factors that had statistically significant relationship with attitudes toward patients' rights were education and scale-N personality. These physicians and nurses who have higher education and stability personality had better attitudes more than those of physicians and nurses who have lower education and neuroticism personality at .01.
