Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรีต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัว และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างลักษณะการเข้าถึงบริการที่มีผลต่อระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรีต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัว โดยใช้ข้อมูลของโครงการวิจัยเรื่องการศึกษาปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้รับบริการและเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ให้บริการวางแผนครอบครัว : นัยสำหรับประสิทธิภาพของโครงการ หน่วยตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาคือสตรีที่เคยสมรสอายุ 15-46 ปี จำนวน 1,778 ราย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ตัวแปรที่มีอิทธิพลอย่างชัดเจนต่อระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรีต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัว ได้แก่ ระยะเวลาที่ใช้รอรับบริการ และความเข้าใจในคำอธิบายเรื่องการวางแผนครอบครัว โดยตัวแปรระยะเวลาที่ใช้รอรับบริการนี้มีอิทธิพลต่อระดับความพึงพอใจต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัวเฉพาะสตรีในภาคใต้ กล่าวคือ สตรีที่ใช้เวลารอรับบริการไม่นานมีระดับความพึงพอใจสูงกว่าสตรีที่ใช้เวลารอรับบริการนานอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ส่วนตัวแปรความเข้าใจในคำอธิบายเรื่องการวางแผนครอบครัวมีอิทธิพลต่อระดับความพึงพอใจต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัวเฉพาะสตรีในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ โดยสตรีที่มีความเข้าใจในคำอธิบายเรื่องการวางแผนครอบครัวได้มากมีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อบริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัวสูงกว่าสตรีที่มีความเข้าใจในคำอธิบายเรื่องการวางแผนครอบครัวได้น้อยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ สำหรับตัวแปรระยะทางจากที่อยู่อาศัยไปยังสถานบริการ และระยะเวลาที่ใช้เดินทางจากที่อยู่อาศัยไปยังสถานบริการมีอิทธิพลต่อระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรีทั้งในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและในภาคใต้น้อยมาก ทั้งนี้อาจเนื่องจากรัฐได้ขยายหน่วยบริการด้านสาธารณสุข และการปรับปรุงคมนาคมในช่วง 2 ทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา จึงทำให้หน่วยบริการของรัฐที่ใกล้ที่สุดจะให้บริการด้านการวางแผนครอบครัวตั้งอยู่ห่างจากที่อยู่อาศัยเพียง 3.5 กิโลเมตร และใช้เวลาเดินทางน้อยกว่าครึ่งชั่วโมง ข้อค้นพบอีกประการหนึ่งคือ อายุของสตรีมีผลต่อระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรีทั้งในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและในภาคใต้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ กล่าวคือ สตรีในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือในกลุ่มอายุ 35-49 ปีมีค่าเฉลี่ยความพึงพอใจสูงที่สุด รองลงมาในกลุ่มอายุ 15-24 ปี และน้อยที่สุดในกลุ่มอายุ 25-34 ปี ส่วนในภาคใต้พบว่า อายุของสตรีมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับระดับความพึงพอใจของสตรี

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The main objective of this study is to access the level of women’s satisfaction with family planning services and to examine relationships between accessibility factors and women’s satisfaction with the services. The data are based on a survey project called “the Study of Interaction between Clients and Grass-root Family Planning Workers: Implication for Programme Performance." The sample for this study covers 1,778 ever-married women, 15 to 49 years of age. Two accessibility variables significantly affect level of women’s satisfaction with family planning services. “They are the waiting time spend at health office and the understanding in the explanation of family planning. The former variable significantly influences only the level of satisfaction of Southern women – those who spend more time are less satisfy with the family planning service." The latter variable, however, significantly influences only the level of satisfaction of Northeastern women – those who understand well are more satisfy with the family planning services. The other two independent variables, the distance between client’s residence and the health office and the travel time between client’s residence and the health office, influence only slightly on the level of women’s satisfaction with family planning in both the Northeastern and the Southern regions. This may be due to the expansion of health services into rural and remote areas and the improvement of transportation during past two decades. Another interesting finding is that age of women significantly influences women’s satisfaction with family planning services in both regions.
