Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันของคอลัมน์ซุบซิบในหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย ในด้านเนื้อหา รูปแบบ ลีลาการเขียน และการใช้ภาษา พร้อมทั้งเปรียบเทียบเนื้อหา รูปแบบ ลีลาการเขียน และการใช้ภาษาของคอลัมน์ซุบซิบในหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทยแต่ละชื่อฉบับ โดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ คอลัมน์ซุบซิบในหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันที่ศึกษามีทั้งสิ้น 9 ชื่อฉบับ คือ ไทยรัฐ เดลินิวส์ มติชน สยามรัฐ แนวหน้า บ้านเมือง ดาวสยาม เดลิมิเร่อร์ และข่าวสด ฉบับระหว่างวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2535 ถึง 31 ธันวาคม 2535 ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างรวมทั้งสิ้น 216 ฉบับ 389 คอลัมน์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คอลัมน์ซุบซิบในหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย มีการนำเสนอเนื้อหาที่เน้นตัวบุคคลเป็นหลักใหญ่ โดยบุคคลที่เป็นเพศชายจะได้รับการซุบซิบมากกว่าเพศหญิงในคอลัมน์ซุบซิบทางการเมือง ส่วนในคอลัมน์สังคมซุบซิบจะนำเสนอเรื่องราวของบุคคลที่เป็นเพศหญิงมากกว่าชาย ผู้ตกเป็นเป้าในการซุบซิบส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นคนไทย อาชีพรับราชการ เรื่องราวที่ซุบซิบถึงมักเป็นเรื่องราวส่วนตัวและเรื่องราวในด้านหน้าที่การงาน คอลัมน์ซุบซิบโดยส่วนใหญ่จะนำเสนอข้อเขียนเชิงบอกข่าว ยกเว้นไทยรัฐที่มีการนำเสนอข้อเขียนในเชิงล้อเลียนมากที่สุด และสยามรัฐมีการนำเสนอข้อเขียนในเชิงตำหนิมากที่สุด คอลัมน์ซุบซิบทางการเมืองจะมีการจัดวางคอลัมน์ไว้เต็มหน้า ส่วนคอลัมน์สังคมซุบซิบจะมีรูปแบบเป็นคอลัมน์เดี่ยววางพาดจากบนลงล่าง มีคอลัมนิสต์ประจำ ชื่อคอลัมน์นิยมใช้นามปากกา ลีลาการเขียนของคอลัมนิสต์ประจำคอลัมน์ซุบซิบทางการเมือง จะมีการใช้สำนวนภาษาที่เร้าอารมณ์มากกว่าคอลัมน์สังคมซุบซิบ ซึ่งมักใช้สำนวนภาษาง่ายๆ ชัดเจน แฝงอารมณ์ขันในบางครั้ง ภาษาที่ปรากฏพบในคอลัมน์ซุบซิบได้แก่ คำหรือสำนวนภาษาที่ก่อให้เกิดภาพพจน์ ภาษาปากหรือตำสแลง ฉายานาม คำทับศัพท์ คำหรือสำนวนเฉพาะสมัย คำภาษาถิ่น คำไม่สุภาพ และคำซ้ำคำซ้อน

This study aims to study and compare the message content, the format, the writing style and the language using of gossip columns in Thai daily newspapers : Thai Rath, Daily News, Matichon, Siam Rath, Naew Na, Ban Muang, Dao Siam, Daily Mirror and Khao Sod during the period of 1 January 19952 to 31 December 1992. The methods of content analysis and quantitative research were used to analyze 389 samples of gossip columns of those 216 sampling. The results of the study indicate that : The message content tended to be personalism. The gossipees in the political gossip columns were mostly Thais, male and work in the government service. On the other hand the gossipees in the social ones were mostly Thais, female, and work in the government service. The content of gossip columns focus on occupational and on private affairs. Most of written news aim to inform except Thai Rath to ridicule and satire and Siam Rath to reprove; The format of the political gossip columns is set on full-page, but the format of the other is a single-column set from top page to the bottom. There are regularly columnists who like to use an assumed name; The writing styles of the political gossip columns were found having more emotional literary than the social gossip columns; The language usage found in the gossip columns were figure of speech, slangs, labeling, foreign language, modern literary, dialect, impolite words and Thai idioms.
