Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการนำเสนอเนื้อหา รูปแบบ วิธีการตั้งชื่อเรื่อง วิธีการสรุปการเน้นบุคคล ประเด็นปัญหา หรือสถาบัน องค์ประกอบโครงสร้างการเขียนบทบรรณาธิการ ตลอดจนความสอดคล้องของเนื้อหาของบทบรรณาธิการกับเนื้อหาข่าวที่ตีพิมพ์ในหน้าหนึ่งของวันเดียวกันในหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาคือ หนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย 6 ชื่อฉบับได้แก่ ไทยรัฐ มติชน สยามรัฐ แนวหน้า บ้านเมือง และเดลินิวส์ จำนวน 622 ฉบับ ซึ่งได้รับการสุ่มเลือกอย่างเป็นระบบและผู้เขียนบทบรรณาธิการ จำนวน 6 คน ซึ่งถูกเลือกโดยวิธีเจาะจง เนื้อหาของบรรณาธิการและเนื้อหาของข่าวหน้าหนึ่งของหนังสือพิมพ์ทั้ง 622 ฉบับได้รับการวิเคราะห์ผู้เขียนบทบรรณาธิการทั้ง 6 คน ได้รับการสัมภาษณ์เพื่อวิเคราะห์คำตอบจากการให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า สอดคล้องกับผลการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาหรือไม่ สถิติค่าไคสแควร์ (X²) ถูกนำมาใช้เพื่อทดสอบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรที่เกี่ยวกับบทบรรณาธิการที่กล่าวข้างต้น กับหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย และเพื่อทดสอบความสอดคล้องระหว่างเนื้อหาของบทบรรณาธิการกับเนื้อหาของข่าวหน้าหนึ่งที่ตีพิมพ์ในวันเดียวกัน ผลการทดสอบค่าไคสแควร์ (X²) พบว่า (1) มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญระหว่างตัวแปรที่เกี่ยวกับบทบรรณาธิการกับหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันภาษาไทย (2) มีความสอดคล้องกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญระหว่างเนื้อหาของบทบรรณาธิการและเนื้อหาของข่าวหน้าหนึ่ง แต่ผลจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้เขียนบทบรรณาธิการ ส่วนใหญ่ไม่สอดคล้องกับผลการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The focus of this study was on the presentations of editorial contents, formats, headline writings, emphases on persons, issues or institutions, conclusions, and structures. The conformity between editorial contents and front-page contents on the same day of Thai daily newspapers was also investigated. The subjects of the study were 622 issues and six editorial writers equally drawn from six Thai daily newspapers : the Thairath, Matichon, Siamrath, Naewna, Ban Muang, and Daily News. The 622 issues were systematically selected and content analyzed. The six writers were purposively selected and interviewed to determine if their responses consistent with the results of the content analyses. Six chi-square tests were computed to determine the significant relationships between the aforementioned editorial variables and the six Thai daily newspapers. The other chi-square test was calculated to determine the conformity between editorial and front-page contents. The results of the seven chi-square tests showed that : (1) There were significant relationships between editorial variables and the six Thai newspapers. (2) There was a significant conformity between editorial and front-page contents. However, the results of interview responses were not, by and large, consistent with the results of the content analyses.
