Abstract

นิคมอุตสาหกรรมมีความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจเป็นอย่างมาก ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากนิคมอุตสาหกรรมจัดเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญที่ช่วยให้ประเทศได้พัฒนาไปอย่างมีระเบียบเรียบร้อยตามลักษณะผังเมือง อีกทั้งยังเป็นเครื่องมือส่งเสริมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ เช่น ช่วยขจัดของเสียออกจากโรงงานเป็นแหล่งจูงใจนักลงทุน และเพิ่มการจ้างงาน ซึ่งเป็นผลให้รายได้ และระดับความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนโดยทั่วไปดีขึ้น นิคมอุตสาหกรรมจึงเสมือนจุดเริ่มต้นของการพัฒนาประเทศที่มีประสิทธิภาพ บทบาทความสำคัญข้างต้นทำให้ในการศึกษานี้เลือกศึกษาถึงปัจจัยที่กำหนดการลงทุนในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม ในการพิจารณาหาสาเหตุของการเพิ่มขึ้นของจำนวนโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อที่จะทำการศึกษาถึงปัจจัยที่ดึงดูดการลงทุนในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม การศึกษาได้ทำการศึกษาปัจจัยภาพรวมทางเศรษฐกิจ ด้วยวิธีการทดสอบสมมติฐาน ว่า ดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค การลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ การลงทุนของภาครัฐบาล และอัตราดอกเบี้ยเงินกู้ในปัจจัยทั้ง 4 อย่างมีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญหรือไม่เพียงใด และผลสรุปจากการสุ่มข้อมูลจากฐานข้อมูลโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม ได้ผลสรุปดังนี้ ปัจจัยทางด้านสิทธิประโยชน์พิเศษต่างๆ ความเหมาะสมของทำเลที่ตั้ง การใกล้แหล่งสาธารณูปโภค สาธารณูปการ และใกล้แหล่งวัตถุดิบ ตลอดจนช่วยลดต้นทุนด้านการดูแลรักษาสภาพแวดล้อม ให้คำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับการประกอบอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งปัจจัยต่างๆ เหล่านี้นับเป็นสำคัญที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการเข้ามาลงทุนในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม และสำหรับปัจจัยทำเลที่ตั้งโรงงานที่มีอิทธิพลต่อโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมนอกนิคมอุตสาหกรรมที่สำคัญก็คือ การคมนาคมขนส่ง การใกล้แหล่งสาธารณูปโภค ใกล้แหล่งแรงงาน และราคาที่ดิน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Industrial estate is very important in economic development as a tool to help the development in a proper manner. The industrial estate contributed to economic development in many ways, such as, waste disposal management, providing incentives for the investors and increase the employment. This resulted in the increase in income and welfare of the people. The industrial estate is the beginning of the efficient economic development. This is the reason why the study of the determinants of the investment in the industrial estate and the increase in the industrial estate and the increase in the industrial activities in the industrial estate is important. The study hypothesized that the consumer price index, foreign investment and the government investment as well as the interest rate play important role in determining the level of investment in the industrial estate. At the macro level, the study found that the consumer price, foreign investment and government investment contributed significantly to the increase in the number of firms in the industrial estate in general. The primary data survey of the firms inside the industrial estate show that factors like promotion privilege, location, infrastructure, closeness to the source of raw material, reduction in environmental cost and suggestion from firms already producing in the industrial estate are important factors for firms to move into the industrial estate. In the case of the firm outside the industrial estate important determining factors are transportation, closeness to the market, closeness to the labor source, closeness to the source of labor, land price.
