Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการอ้างถึงในรายงานการวิจัยและวิทยานิพนธ์ระดับปริญญามหาบัณฑิตสาขาวิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยาของภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา บัณฑิตวิทยาลัย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และคณะสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์โดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เอกสารในด้านประเภท, ภาษา, อายุ และขอบเขตเนื้อหาวิชาของเอกสารที่ได้รับการอ้างถึงตลอดจนใช้วิธีการสำรวจด้วยแบบสอบถามเพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการอ้างถึงของผู้เขียนรายงานการวิจัย และวิทยานิพนธ์สาขาวิชาดังกล่าวในด้านเหตุผลในการนำเอกสารมาอ้างถึง, การพิจารณาถึงความสำคัญและความจำเป็นของเอกสารที่นำมาอ้างถึง, ความตั้งใจใช้เอกสารที่นำมาอ้างถึง และจำนวนเอกสารที่ใช้เรียบเรียงในงานเขียนแต่มิได้อ้างถึง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หนังสือ (53.04%) และวารสาร (20.39%) เป็นประเภทของเอกสารที่ได้รับการอ้างถึงมากที่สุด เอกสารภาษาไทย (54.52%) ได้รับการอ้างถึงมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณาเฉพาะภาษาของหนังสือและวารสารปรากฏว่า หนังสือและวารสารภาษาอังกฤษ (27.07% และ 13.25%) ได้รับการอ้างถึงมากที่สุดเอกสารที่อยู่ในช่วงอายุ 1-5 ปี (28.40%) ได้รับการอ้างถึงมากที่สุด เอกสารในหมวดสังคมวิทยา (35.06%) ได้รับการอ้างถึงมากที่สุด เหตุผลที่ผู้วิจัยคำนึงถึงมากที่สุดในการนำเอกสารมาอ้างอิง คือ เพื่อให้เกียรติเจ้าของงานเขียนเดิม, เพื่อสร้างกรอบแนวความคิดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องที่กำลังทำวิจัยและระเบียบวิธีการที่ใช้ในการวิจัย, และเพื่อให้ผู้อ่านมีภูมิหลังเป็นพื้นฐานในการอ่านต่อไปในการนำเอกสารมาอ้างถึงผู้วิจัยมีการพิจารณาว่าเอกสารนั้นมีความสำคัญและจำเป็นต่องานเขียน และตั้งใจใช้เอกสารที่สำคัญและจำเป็นนั้นเพื่องานเขียนโดยเฉพาะ (92.07%) จำนวนเอกสารที่ผู้ใช้เรียบเรียงในงานเขียน แต่มิได้อ้างถึงอยู่ในช่วง 0-2 รายการมากที่สุด (35.42%) เหตุผลที่ผู้วิจัยตอบมากที่สุดในกรณีอ้างถึงเอกสารที่ไม่ได้ใช้ด้วยตนเอง คือ ได้บรรณานุกรมของเอกสารนั้น แต่หาตัวเล่มไม่พบ จึงอ้างจากงานของผู้อื่นที่เคยอ้างไว้ (54.17%) เหตุผลที่ผู้วิจัยเลือกตอบมากที่สุดในกรณีที่ไม่อ้างถึง เอกสารที่ใช้เรียบเรียงในงานเขียน คือ ใช้เอกสารเพียงนำแนวความคิดหลักการมาดัดแปลงในการเรียบเรียงงานเขียนเท่านั้น (51.72%)

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research is studying the citation in research reports and master theses of the Sociology and Anthropology Department, Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University and the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University. Research method is analysing types, languages, ages and subjects of the cited documents, together with question-nairing to ask the writers of research reports and master theses for their reasons of citing, their considering the importance and necessity of the cited documents, their consulting the cited documents and the umber of the documents that the writers used in their works but did not cited. The result of the study was found that the books (53.04%) and the journals (20.39%) were types of mostly cited of documents. Thai documents (54.52%) were mostly cited. The English books (27.07%) and the English journals (13.25%) were mostly cited. The ages of mostly cited documents (28.40%) were 1-5 years. The subject of mostly cited documents (35.06%) was Sociology. In citation, the writers mostly think about three reasons : pay homage to pioneers, identifying idea or concept of the content and methodology, and providing background reading to the reader. The cited documents (92.07%) were considered to be important and necessary, therefore, they were consulted especially for written works. The documents in item 0-2 (35.42%) were consulted in written works, but were not cited. The most reason that the writers cited the unconsulted documents (54.17%) was the writers got the bibliographic of documents but they could not find the actual documents. The most reason for unciting consulted documents (51.72%) was those documents were only investigated merely for applying the concept for the written works and not for the practical use in the citation.
