Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการบูรณาการวัฒนธรรมไทยและวัฒนธรรมอ่าข่าของนักเรียนชาวไทยภูเขาเผ่าอ่าข่าในระดับประถมศึกษา โดยศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีนักเรียนชาวไทยภูเขาเผ่าอ่าข่าใน ระดับประถมศึกษา บ้านปลายฟ้า อำเภอแม่ลาย จังหวัดเชียงราย การศึกษาอาศัยข้อมูลจากเอกสารและการวิจัยภาคสนาม ด้วยการสังเกตการณ์แบบมีส่วนร่วมและการสัมภาษณ์อย่างไม่เป็นทางการ ต่อจากนั้นจึงดำเนินการสังเคราะห์และเขียนรายงานผลการวิจัย โดยใช้วิธีพรรณนาวิเคราะห์เป็นหลัก จากการศึกษาพบว่า เด็กอ่าข่าบ้านปลายฟ้ามีการบูรณาการวัฒนธรรม โดยการปรับใช้อัตลักษณ์ดั้งเดิมและรับเอาอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมใหม่ เพื่อใช้เป็นกลไกในการแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเป็นกลุ่มชาติพันธ์อ่าข่า ภายใต้สำนึกทางชาติพันธุ์ 2 ลักษณะ คือ เกิดสำนึกของความเป็นคนอ่าข่าภายในกลมชาติพันธุเดียวกันและเกิดสำนึกในความเป็นพลเมืองไทย จึงทำให้วัฒนธรรมไทยและวัฒนธรรมอ่าข่ามีการบูรณาการ ทั้งทางด้านการดำรงชีพ ภาษา ศาสนา ศิลปะ และสังคมในลักษณะที่ทันสมัย เพื่อจะได้มีสถานภาพที่สอดคล้องกับ ความเปลี่ยนแปลง อันเป็นผลมาจากปัจจัยด้านการศึกษา สภาพแวดล้อม และความเจริญก้าวหน้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี การบูรณาการวัฒนธรรมของเด็กอ่าข่าโดยการปรับวัฒนธรรมอ่าข่าเช้ามาอยู่ในบริบทของวัฒนธรรมไทย ได้ทำให้เกิดภาวะของการสูญเสียความเป็นคนอ่าข่า จากการละทิ้งวัฒนธรรมดั้งเดิมจนแทบไม่สามารถบอกได้ว่าอะไรคือสิ่งที่บ่งบอกถึงความเป็นอ่าข่า ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเสื้อผ้า การแต่งกาย อาหาร ภาษา ศาสนา ศิลปะ และสังคม ซึ่งมิได้มีความแตกต่างไปจากวัฒนธรรมไทย อย่างไรก็ตามการเกิด ประสบการณ์ใหม่จากวัฒนธรรมบูรณาการนี้ ทำให้เด็กอ่าข่าสามารถทำความเข้าใจกับปรากฏการณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมได้อย่างครอบคลุมมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งหมดนี้จึงเป็นสิ่งที่แสดงถึงความสามารถในการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของเด็กอ่าข่า ท่ามกลางการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ยังคงดำเนินต่อไ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this research is to study on Thai and Akha cultural integration process of Akha students in elementary school. It is a case study of the Akha students in elementary school at Plaifa Village, Maesai District, Chiangrai Province. Data are collected from relevant documents, participant observation and informal interview, then synthesized data means of domain analysis and componential analysis, and presented the findings through analytic description. The study shows that the Akha children at Plaifa Village had adjusted their identity Akha culture to the modern culture. They present 2 perspectives : awareness of themselves as being 1) part of the Akha tribal community and 2) being part of the Thai people. The Akha children have integrated Thai cultural norms to their way of life; in their language, religion, art, and social customs. This has enabled them to suivive changes adjusting as a result of Thai education; the imposed social environment; and the influence of modern science and information technology. The children of the Akha people have integrated their culture to the Thai culture and lost much of their Akha identity, one of ten abandoning their own culture completely. Sometimes it is difficult to recognize the Akha apart from Thai in their customs. Food, language, religion, art, modern and social community. On the other hand, Akha children now have an understanding of a multi - culture society. In conclusion, Akha children can adjust their culture in a changing world.
