Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการรับข่าวสารและเปรียบเทียบการรับข่าวสารจากนิตยสารคอมพิวเตอร์ของนิสิตระดับบัณทิตศึกษา สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีการศึกษาที่มีภูมิหลังต่างกันทางด้านสาขาวิชาที่จบการศึกษา แหล่งที่ตั้งของสถาบันการศึกษาและหน้าที่การงานก่อนเข้ารับการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ประชากรในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นนิสิตระดับปริญญาโทมหาบัณทิต สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีการศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษา ในปีการศึกษา 2537 ในมหาวิทยาลัยจำกัดรับของรัฐทั้ง 8 มหาวิทยาลัย จำนวน 224 คน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ประชากรส่วนใหญ่อ่านนิตยสารคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ห้องสมุดแต่ผู้ที่มีภูมิหลังเคยเกี่ยวข้องกับคอมพิวเตอร์มักซื้ออ่านเองเฉพาะเล่มที่เนื้อเรื่องหรือหัวข้อน่าสนใจเท่านั้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นหาข้อมูลความรู้ที่น่าสนใจ 2. ประชากรส่วนใหญ่อ่านนิตยสารคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เป็นภาษาไทยครั้งละไม่เกิน 1 ชั่วโมง ส่วนใหญ่อ่านตามลำพังและไม่ทำสิ่งใดเลยขณะอ่าน คอลัมน์ที่ชอบอ่านคือคอมพิวเตอร์การศึกษา แต่ผู้ที่ภูมิหลังไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับคอมพิวเตอร์มักอ่านข่าวและผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ คอลัมน์ที่ไม่อ่านเลยคือการเขียนโปรแกรมเพื่อประยุกต์ใช้งาน สิ่งแรกที่กระทำขณะอ่าน คือ เปิดอ่านสารบัญ เมื่อพบสิ่งที่น่าสนใจหรือแปลกใหม่จะถ่ายเอกสารเก็บไว้ และถ้ามีข้อคำถามจะนำไปอภิปรายกับเพื่อนหรือปรึกษากับอาจารย์หรือโปรแกรมเมอร์ 3. เนื้อหาที่นำไปใช้ประโยชน์มากที่สุดคือคอมพิวเตอร์การศึกษา ประชากรมักนำความรู้ที่ได้จากการอ่านไปใช้กับวิชาอื่น ยกเว้นผู้ที่เคยเกี่ยวข้องกับคอมพิวเตอร์มักใช้เป็นเครื่องมือผลิตสื่อ สิ่งที่คิดว่าสำคัญที่สุดที่จะทำหลังรับข่าวสารแตกต่างกันดังนี้คือ ผู้ที่จบการศึกษาจากสถาบันต่างจังหวัดสาขามนุษยศาสตร์หรือลังคมศาสตร์ คิดว่า ควรนำเนื้อหามาสนทนากับเพื่อน แต่ผู้ที่จบการศึกษาสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์คิดว่าควรทดสอบความรู้ที่ได้จากการอ่านโดยปฏิบัติกับเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์และผู้ที่เคยเกี่ยวข้องกับคอมพิวเตอร์ มีความเห็นว่า ควรช่วยเหลือหรืออำนวยความสะดวกในการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ให้แก่ผู้อื่น

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research was to study the information reception from computer magazines of educational technology graduate students and computer information reception of the students with different background. The population subjects in this study were 224 graduate students from educational technology program of public university study in 1994. The finding of the study were the following : 1. Most of the subject read the magazines for acquiring knowledge, mostly read in library, the graduate students with non-computer related backgrounds usually buy only the interesting title. 2. Most of the population read Thai language magazines, once or twice per week, each five will read less than 1 hour. The topic they like was Computer; Education, but non-computer related backgrounds like to read the topics concerning news and new products. Most of them never read the column about applications of programming language. They started to read the magazines with the task content. If they found any unclear subject they would discuss it with friends, or consulted with teacher or programmer. 3. The content to benefit them was Computer Education. They would apply it to other subjects, except those whose work related to computer might use for media production. After reading the students of social science background would discuss the topics with friends, while students with natural science background would practice the content by using computer. The students whose work related to computer thought that they should assist or facilitate the use of computer to other students.
