Abstract

ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความคาดหวังในผลการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง และความคาดหวังในผลการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 กรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 395 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถามการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองด้านทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ แบบสอบถามความคาดหวังในผลการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษด้านทักษะการอ่าน ซึ่งดัดแปลงมาจากแบบสอบถามของ ดูแอน เอฟ เชลล์ และคณะ (Duane F.Shell and other, 1989:91-100) ได้รับการตรวจความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่านและแบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่าน เพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น และได้รับการตรวจความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่าน และแบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น และได้รับการตรวจความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่าน ผู้วิจัยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลแล้ว นำมาวิเคราะห์ด้วยการหาค่าความสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สันและสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้ 1. การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวก กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 2. ความคาดหวังในผลการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวก กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 3. การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง และความคาดหวังในผลการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวก กับความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Studies the relationship between self-efficacy and English reading comprehension ability, the relationships between expectancy in learning English language and English reading comprehension ability and the relationships between self-efficacy, expectancy in learning English language and English reading comprehension ability. The sample was 395 mathayom suksa five students in secondary school, Bangkok metropolis. The research instruments were the questionnaires of self-efficacy, expectancy in learning English language adapted from Duane F. Shell and other (1989:91-100) and approved the content validity by 5 specialists and the reading comprehension ability test constructed by the researcher and approved the content validity by 5 specialists. The collected data were then analyzed by means of Pearson Product Moment Correlation and multiple correlation. The results of the study revealed that: 1. Self-efficacy was positively and significantly correlated with English reading comprehension ability.(p<0.01) 2. Expectancy in learning English language was positively and singnificantly correlated with English reading comprehension ability. (p<0.01) 3. Self-efficacy and expectancy in learning English language were positively and significantly correlated with English reading comprehension ability. (p<0.01)
