Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์เชิงจริยธรรม ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความตั้งใจกระทำพฤติกรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช จำแนกตามระดับการศึกษาประสบการณ์การดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเวช เจตคติต่อผู้ป่วยจิตเวช ต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเวช และคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสม กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักศึกษาพยาบาลวิทยาลัยพยาบาล สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุขจำนวน 390 คน ที่ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง และแบบวัด 3 ชุด คือ 1) แบบวัดความตั้งใจกระทำพฤติกรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช ซึ่งผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น 2) แบบวัดเจตคติต่อผู้ป่วยจิตเวช และ 3) แบบวัดเจตคติต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเวช แบบวัดทุกชุดผ่านการทดสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหา และความเที่ยงภายใน ผลการวิจัยที่สำคัญมีดังนี้ 1. สถานการณ์เชิงจริยธรรมที่เป็นปัญหาและที่พบมากที่สุด ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช คือ การเคารพสิทธิของผู้ป่วย 2. ค่าเฉลี่ยความตั้งใจกระทำพฤติกรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช อยู่ในระดับต่ำ 3. ค่าเฉลี่ยความตั้งใจกระทำพฤติกรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช ที่มีระดับการศึกษาต่างกัน และคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมต่างกันมีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 4. ค่าเฉลี่ยความตั้งใจกระทำพฤติกรรมจริยธรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลสุขภาพจิตและจิตเวช จำแนกตามประสบการณ์การดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเวช เจตคติต่อผู้ป่วยจิตเวช และต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเวช ไม่แตกต่างกัน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this research were to study the ethical dilemma in psychiatric-mental health nursing practice and to compare this intention to perform ethical behaviors of nursing students who had different level of education, level of experience in caring for psychiatric patients, attitude toward psychiatric patients and psychiatric-mental health nursing practice, and grade point average. Samples consisted of 390 nursing students, selected by multi-stage sampling techniques. Research instruments were structured interview, two attitude tests and one test which was developed by the researcher and was designed to measure the intention to perform ethical behaviors of nursing students. All tests were tested for content validity and internal reliability. Major results of this study were the followings: 2. The most commonly found ethical dilemma in psychiatric-mental health nursing practice was the situation regarding the observation of the patients’ rights. 2. The mean score of the intention to perform ethical behaviors of nursing students were at the low level. 3. The intention to perform ethical behaviors of the second and fourth year nursing students were significantly higher than that of the third year nursing students, whereas such behaviors of students who had moderate level GPA was significantly higher than that of the students who had high level of GPA, at the .05 level. 4. There were no difference between the said behaviors of nursing students who had different level of experience in caring for psychiatric patients, and attitude toward psychiatric patients and psychiatric-mental health nursing practice.
