Abstract

ศึกษาความสามารถในการตัดสินใจในปัญหา ความขัดแย้งเชิงจริยธรรมในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล รวมทุกขั้นตอนและในขั้นการรวบรวมข้อมูล การวินิจฉัยปัญหา การพิจารณาทางเลือกในการตัดสินใจ การตัดสินใจปฏิบัติและการประเมินผลของนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 4 จำแนกตามค่านิยมวิชาชีพและผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน รวมทั้งศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่านิยมวิชาชีพ ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน กับความสามารถในการตัดสินใจในปัญหาความขัดแย้งเชิงจริยธรรมในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของนักศึกษาพยาบาลแต่ละขั้นตอนและรวมทุกขั้นตอน กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาที่กำลังศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 ปีการศึกษา 2539 ตามหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิตหรือเทียบเท่าของสถาบันการศึกษาพยาบาลทั่วประเทศ จำนวน 391 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบวัดความสามารถในการตัดสินใจในปัญหาความขัดแย้งเชิงจริยธรรมในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล และแบบวัดค่านิยมวิชาชีพที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นจากการสัมภาษณ์แนวลึกผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิทางการพยาบาล และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านจริยธรรมที่ศึกษาค้นคว้าประเด็นจริยธรรมในการบริการสุขภาพ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถในการตัดสินใจในปัญหาความแย้งเชิงจริยธรรมในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของนักศึกษารวมทุกขั้นตอนและในขั้นตอนการรวมข้อมูล การวินิจฉัยปัญหา และการประเมินผลเกินร้อยละ 50 ยกเว้นขั้นการตัดสินใจปฏิบัติต่ำกว่าร้อยละ 50 2. ค่านิยมวิชาชีพและคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกระดับต่ำกับความสามารถในการตัดสินใจของนักศึกษาพยาบาล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (r=.20 และ r=.25) 3. นักศึกษาที่มีค่านิยมวิชาชีพระดับสูง มีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถในการตัดสินใจในขั้นการวินิจฉัยปัญหา การพิจารณาทางเลือกในการตัดสินใจ การตัดสินใจปฏิบัติ และรวมทุกขั้นตอนสูงกว่านักศึกษาที่มีค่านิยมวิชาชีพระดับปานกลางและต่ำ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 4. นักศึกษาที่มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมในระดับดีมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนสามารถในการตัดสินใจในขั้นตอนการวินิจฉัยปัญหา การพิจารณาทางเลือกในการตัดสินใจ การตัดสินใจปฏิบัติ การประเมินผลและรวมทุกขั้นตอนสูงกว่านักศึกษาที่มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมในระดับดีและพอใช้ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this research were to study the ability to make decision in nursing ethical dilemmas of nursing students and to find the relationships between professional nursing values, academic achievement and the ability to make decision in nursing ethical dilemmas of nursing students. The ability to make decision composed of 5 phases which were : collecting data, analysing problems, considering alternatives to the decision, making decision, and evaluating the results of decision. Research samples were 391 fourth year nursing students in academic year of 1996, selected by multistage random sampling from all nursing institutes in Thailand. Research instruments were the test to evaluate the ability to make decision in nursing ethical dilemmas in nursing practice and professional nursing values scales. These tools were developed by the inverstigator using the content derived from the indepht interview of experts. Major results were as follow : 1. The mean scores of the ability to make decision in all steps and in the step of collecting data, analysing problems, considering alternatives to make decision, and evaluating the results of decision of nursing students were 50% and over, but such score of the step of making decision was less than 50%. 2. Professional nursing values and academic achievement were positively and significantly related to the ability to make decision of nursing students, at .05 level. 3. The ability to make decision in all steps and in each step of nursing students with higher professional nursing values were significantly higher than those of the students with lower professional nursing values, at .05 level. 4. The ability to make decision in all steps of nursing students who possessed excellent GPA were significantly higher than those of the students with good and average GPA, at .05 level.
