Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงการดำเนินงานโสตทัศนศึกษาในห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐ รวมทั้งปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อเป็นแนวทางสำหรับปรับปรุงแก้ไขการดำเนินงานโสตทัศนศึกษาในห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น ผลการวิจัยพบว่าห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐส่วนใหญ่มีการดำเนินงานโสตทัศนศึกษาที่ไม่แตกต่างกันโดยด้านงานบริหาร มีการจัดสรรงบประมาณในการดำเนินงานรวมกับงบประมาณของห้องสมุดบุคลากรที่รับผิดชอบส่วนใหญ่ คือ นักวิชาการโสตทัศนศึกษาและมีอาคาร/สถานที่ในการดำเนินงานเป็นเอกเทศ สำหรับด้านงานเทคนิคนั้น ห้องสมุดมีการดำเนินงานตามหลักเกณฑ์กล่าวคือมีการจัดทำคู่มือช่วยค้นในรูปของบัตรรายการ และบรรณานุกรม (รูปเล่ม) การจัดหมู่โสตทัศนวัสดุใช้ระบบรหัสทะเบียนและจัดเก็บโสตทัศนวัสดุแบบชั้นปิดโดยแยกเก็บตามประเภทของโสตทัศนวัสดุ ส่วนด้านงานบริการนั้นห้องสมุดให้บริการโสตทัศนวัสดุและอุปกรณ์ แก่อาจารย์ นักศึกษา และบุคลากรของสถาบัน โดยทั่วไปให้บริการเฉพาะภายในห้องสมุดยกเว้นอาจารย์ซึ่งห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่ให้บริการยืมใช้ภายนอกสถานที่ด้วย โสตทัศนวัสดุทีมีในห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่คือ สไลด์ วีดีทัศน์ เทปบันทึกเสียง แผนที่ รูปภาพ ฟิล์มสตริป ไมโครฟิช ลูกโลก และแผ่นใส สำหรับโสตทัศนูปกรณ์ที่มีในห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่ คือ เครื่องฉายสไลด์ เครื่องเล่นวีดีทัศน์ เครื่องเล่นเทปบันทึกเสียง หูฟัง และเครื่องฉายภาพข้ามศีรษะ ปัญหาในการดำเนินงานโสตทัศนศึกษาโดยเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดอยู่ที่เรื่องของงบประมาณ บุคลากร การจัดหา และการจัดทำคู่มือช่วยค้น ข้อเสนอแนะของห้องสมุดจำนวนมากที่สุด คือ ควรเพิ่มประมาณในการจัดซื้อโสตทัศนวัสดุ เพิ่มบุคลากรให้เพียงพอและเหมาะสมกับงาน และควรรวบรวมรายชื่อผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายโสตทัศนวัสดุและอุปกรณ์ เพื่อประโยชน์ในการจัดหา
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The objective of this research was to study the audiovisual operation in state academic libraries, including its problems and suggestion. The research results would be a guideline for improving the audiovisual operation in state academic libraries. The study has found that most state academic libraries has the same audiovisual operation. For management, the libraries had planned the budgets; most of personnels were media specialists; the audiovisual section had it own area. Regarding to technical services, the libraries had principles to operate the work : the audiovisual materials were evaluates before selected, them registered by separating them from printed materials and putting in closed shelfs; prepared card catalogues and bibliographies; classified them by registered system. For user services, the materials and equipments were allowed to be used by students and officials only in the libraries. Teachers had got special permission to use outside. The problems found were about budgets, personnels, acquisition and cataloging. The suggestions were: the budgets and personnels would be increased, there should be a compilation of publisher list of audio visual materials and equipments.
