Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการจ้างบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศในธุรกิจบริการสารนิเทศเชิงพาณิชย์ ตั้งแต่ปี 2536 – 2538 ในด้านตำแหน่ง ลักษณะงานและหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ ระดับการศึกษาและระดับเงินเดือน และเพื่อศึกษาคุณสมบัติบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติสารนิเทศในธุรกิจบริการสารนิเทศเชิงพาณิชย์ ในด้านความรู้ ความชำนาญ/ความสามารถ และบุคลิกลักษณะ ตามความคาดหวังของผู้จัดการฝ่ายบุคคลและ/หรือผู้จัดการศูนย์ข้อมูล และตามความคาดหวังของบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศ สมมุติฐานในการวิจัยมี 2 ข้อ ข้อแรกตำแหน่งสำหรับบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศ ในธุรกิจบริการสารนิเทศเชิงพาณิชย์มีหลายหลาก บุคลากรแต่ละตำแหน่งมีลักษณะงานและหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบต่างกัน แต่งานส่วนใหญ่เกี่ยวกับการจัดเก็บและการค้นคืนสารนิเทศ ข้อสองผู้จัดการฝ่ายบุคคล และ/หรือผู้จัดการศูนย์ข้อมูลมีความคาดหวังเกี่ยวกับคุณสมบัติของบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศในธุรกิจบริการสารนิเทศเชิงพาณิชย์ สูงกว่าความคาดหวังของบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศ แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในบริษัท 14 แห่ง ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) บุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศที่ได้รับการว่าจ้างในปัจจุบันและในระหว่างปี 2536-2538 มีตำแหน่งหลายหลากและรับผิดชอบงานหลากหลาย แต่งานส่วนใหญ่เกี่ยวกับการจัดเก็บและสารค้นคืนสารนิเทศ และงานตีความวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล (ขั้นต้น) 2) สาขาวิชาที่บุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศที่ได้รับการว่าจ้างระหว่างปี 2536-2538 ได้รับการว่าจ้างมากที่สุด สำหรับระดับปริญญาตรี คือ สาขาวิชาเศรษฐศาสตร์ สำหรับระดับปริญญาโท คือ สาขาวิชาบริหารธุรกิจ ระดับเงินเดือนสูงสุดที่ได้รับการว่าจ้าง สำหรับระดับปริญญาตรีคือ ระดับ 23001-25000 บาท สำหรับระดับปริญญาโทคือ ระดับ 59001-60000 บาท 3) ความคาดหวังของผู้จัดการฝ่ายบุคคล และ/หรือผู้จัดการศูนย์ข้อมูลที่มีต่อคุณสมบัติของบุคลากร ผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศในธุรกิจบริการสาร[เทศ]เชิงพาณิชย์ สูงกว่าความคาดหวังของบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศในด้านความรู้ และมีความคาดหวังต่ำกว่าคาดหวังของบุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงานสารนิเทศในด้านความชำนาญ/ความสามารถ และบุคลิกลักษณะ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The objectives of this study are to investigate the employment of information professionals during 1993-1995 in terms of position, task and responsibility, education and salary; to examine the expectations of personnel managers or information center managers, and the expectation of information personnel about knowledge, skill/ability and characteristics of the information professionals. It its hypothesized that positions, available for information’s professionals are varied, and each position has different responsibilities but mostly related to information storage and retrieval; and that the personnel managers, and/or information center managers expectations about the qualification of information professionals are higher than information personnel. Interview and questionnaires are used to gather data in 14 companies. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1) Information professionals who are employed at present and in 1993-1995 are in various positions and have different responsibilities. 2) Most information professionals, employed in 1993-1995, have bachelor’s degree in economics, and master’s degree in business administration. The highest [salary] scale for bachelor’s degree holders are 23001-25000 baht and for master degree holders are 59001-60000 baht. 3) Managers’ expectations about the qualifications of information professionals are higher than those of information personnel.
