Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาวารสารสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพที่จัดพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ในประเทศไทย ในด้านหน่วยงานผู้ผลิตวารสาร วัตถุประสงค์ในการผลิต ประเภทของวารสาร กำหนดออก เนื้อหาวิชาของวารสาร กลุ่มผู้ใช้เป้าหมาย และวิธีการเผยแพร่วารสาร รวมทั้งศึกษาแหล่ง ผลิตวารสารสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพในด้านการดำเนินการผลิต ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะในการผลิต ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่าวารสารสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพที่จัดพิมพ์เผยแพร่ในประเทศไทย ส่วนใหญ่ผลิตโดยหน่วยงานราชการ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ความ ทางวิชาการ วารสารที่ผลิต ส่วนใหญ่เป็นวารสารวิจัย โดยมีกลุ่มผู้ใช้เป้าหมายหลักคือ แพทย์ และส่วนใหญ่มีเนื้อหาในสาขา อายุรศาสตร์ การเผยแพร่ใช้วิธีแจกเป็นอภินันทนาการเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ปัญหาสำคัญในการผลิตวารสารสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ คือ ขาดแคลนบทความที่จะนำ มาลง ผู้ผลิตวารสารได้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุงการผลิตวารสาร ดังนี้ ควรส่ง ข่าว จดหมาย ประชาสัมพันธ์ไปยังหน่วยงานต่างๆ เพื่อเชิญชวนนักวิชาการ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ในสาขานั้นส่ง บทความวิชาการมาตีพิมพ์ และควรมีบทความสำรองไว้ล่วงหน้า ควรให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญใน สาขานั้นๆ เป็นผู้คัดเลือก และผู้ตรวจแก้ไขต้นฉบับ ควรมีการประสานงานกับผู้เขียนเป็นอย่างดี บทความที่นำมาลงควรมีเนื้อหาทันสมัยสอดคล้องกับสถานการณ์ และความก้าวหน้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The objectives of this research are to study the production sources for health sciences periodicals in Thailand, including their publishing objectives, types of periodicals, frequencies, contents, target audiences and distribution methods. The publishing processes, problems and recommendations of the health sciences periodicals production are also analysed Findings are that most of the health sciences in Thailand are produced by government agencies. The main publishing objective is to disseminate scientific information to physicians. It is also found that most of the periodicals published are research journals ; the main subject matter is practice of medicine and most periodicals are distributed free of charge. The main problem of the health sciences periodicals production is that too few articles are received in time to be published when expected. It is recommended that the editorial board should acquire articles by sending bulletins or information to writers of subject specialists to persuade them to submit articles in time to be published. It is also suggested that journal manuscripts should be selected and reviewed by subject specialists and having good collaboration between the reviewers and authors. The articles published should emphasize contents on present topics of interest and progress report about current health sciences.
