Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาการใช้วารสารศิลปะของอาจารย์ และนักศึกษาศิลปะในมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในด้านวัตถุประสงค์การใช้ แหล่งที่ใช้ อายุของวารสาร คุณลักษณะของวารสาร รายชื่อวารสาร และสาขาวิชาของวารสาร ตลอดจนปัญหาในการใช้วารสาร โดยแจกแบบสอบถามแก่อาจารย์ และนักศึกษาศิลปะ จำนวน 405 ชุด และได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืนมา 307 ชุด (ร้อยละ 75.8) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า อาจารย์และนักศึกษาศิลปะมีวัตถุประสงค์ในระดับมากเพื่อค้นคว้าข้อมูลและเทคนิคใหม่ ๆ ที่จำเป็นในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และเพื่อติดตามความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการในสาขาวิชาศิลปะและสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้อง ใช้วารสารจากทุกแหล่งในระดับปานกลาง โดยแหล่งที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือห้องสมุดคณะ ช่วงอายุของวารสารที่ใช้ในระดับมากคือ ฉบับที่ตีพิมพ์ในช่วงปีปัจจุบัน คุณลักษณะของวารสารที่ใช้ในระดับมาก คือ ภาพประกอบและเนื้อหา ในจำนวนวารสารทั้งหมด 69 ชื่อ มีวารสารที่ใช้ในระดับปานกลาง 63 ชื่อ และใช้ในระดับน้อย 6 ชื่อ ใช้วารสารทุกสาขาวิชาในระดับปานกลาง โดยสาขาวิชาที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือ สาขาสถาปัตยกรรม สำหรับปัญหาที่ประสบเกี่ยวกับตัววารสาร ห้องสมุด และตัวผู้ใช้เอง พบว่า อาจารย์และนักศึกษาศิลปะประสบปัญหาในระดับมาก คือ วารสารราคาแพงเกินไป ผลการทดสอบความแตกต่างในการใช้วารสารศิลปะ พบว่า อาจารย์และนักศึกษาศิลปะใช้วารสารศิลปะแตกต่างกันในด้านวัตถุประสงค์การใช้ แหล่งที่ใช้ คุณลักษณะของวารสาร สาขาวิชาของวารสาร และปัญหาในการใช้วารสารโดยแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเป็นบางส่วน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research was to study the use of the art periodicals by art faculty members and students in state universities concerning objectives, sources, ages of periodicals, factors of periodicals, lists and fields of periodicals including problems of uses. The questionnaires were distributed to 405 art faculties and students, of which 307 (75.8%) were returned. Findings revealed that the objectives of art faculties and students for usage of the art periodicals in high level were searching information and new techniques to create art works and keeping pace with scholary development in the art fields and others related. The source highest used in moderate level was faculty library. The age of periodicals used in high level was the presently published year. The factors of periodicals used in high level were illustrations and contents. Of the 69 lists of periodicals, 63 were used in moderate level and 6 were used in low level. Periodicals in the field of Architecture were highest used in moderate level. Among problems about periodicals, libraries and users, the problem of periodicals encountered in high level was the exceeding price. The test of differences in use of the art periodicals between art faculties and students in terms of objectives, sources, factors of periodicals, fields of periodicals and problems revealed that there appear to be partly different.
