Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดของผู้บริหารและบรรณารักษ์เกี่ยวกับข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศ สร้างแบบจำลองข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศสำหรับสถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล และประเมินผลแบบจำลองข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศที่สร้างขึ้น วิธีวิจัยที่ใช้คือ การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือ ประชากรคือผู้บริหารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานห้องสมุดสถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล จำนวน 65 คน และบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดสถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล จำนวน 31 คน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ คือ ห้องสมุดสถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล 31 แห่ง มีความพร้อมที่จะสร้างข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศ ผู้บริหารส่วนใหญ่เห็นความสำคัญของข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศว่าจะทำให้สถาบันฯ สามารถเชื่อมโยงการใช้ข้อมูลร่วมกับข่ายงานอื่น ๆ ได้ ผู้บริหารและบรรณารักษ์ส่วนใหญ่มีความเห็นว่าข่ายงานฯ ควรมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสามารถแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกับข่ายงานอื่น ๆ ได้ และมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นศูนย์ข้อมูลทางวิชาการในสาขาวิชาต่าง ๆ ของสถาบัน บรรณารักษ์ประเมินผลแบบจำลองข่ายงานห้องสมุดและสารนิเทศสำหรับสถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลว่าควรใช้โครงสร้างข่ายงานแบบผสมผสาน โดยแบ่งกลุ่มห้องสมุดตามสาขาวิชาหลักของคณะ/วิทยาเขต เป็น 3 กลุ่มคือ กลุ่มที่ 1 ห้องสมุดกลุ่มสาขาวิชาเกษตร กลุ่มที่ 2 ห้องสมุดกลุ่มสาขาวิชาช่างอุตสาหกรรม และกลุ่มที่ 3 ห้องสมุดกลุ่มสาขาวิชาการบริหาร คหกรรม ศิลปกรรม ศึกษาศาสตร์ และมนุษยศาสตร์โดยในแต่ละกลุ่มพิจารณาเลือกห้องสมุดที่มีความพร้อมที่สุด เป็นศูนย์กลางในโครงสร้างข่ายงานรูปดาว ในขณะเดียวกันศูนย์กลางของแต่ละกลุ่มสามารถติดต่อเชื่อมโยงกันได้

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this thesis are : 1) to study the administrators and librarians’ viewpoints concerning the library and information network for Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) : 2) to devise a library and information network model of RIT ; and 3) to evaluate this network model. A research was done through a questionnaire survey. The population consist of sixty-five administrators and thirty-one librarians. Research results can be summarized as follows: thirty-one RIT libraries are ready to join the library and information network. Most administrators think that the library and information network can help RIT to link and share information with other networks. According to the administrators and librarians’ viewpoint the goal of the RIT network is to exchange information among other networks and the main objective is to be the educational center of the institute. For the network model evaluation, it is shown that the network structure should be composite. The libraries should be formed into three groups according to the fields of study: 1) Agriculture; 2) Industry; 3) Business Administration, Home Economics, Fine Arts, Education and Humanities. In each group, a potential library should be the center for other libraries like a star network, In the meantime each library center can be linked with each other.
