Abstract

ศึกษาจารีตการใช้อุปกรณ์การแสดงละครเรื่อง อิเหนา ของกรมศิลปากร ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ.2508-2538 โดยใช้วิธีศึกษาจากวรรณคดีเรื่อง อิเหนา บทพระราชนิพนธ์ในรัชกาลที่ 2 เอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง การสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ การสังเกตการณ์ การแสดงบนเวที วิดีทัศน์ การศึกษาอุปกรณ์การแสดงจริง และจากประสบการณ์ตรงของผู้วิจัยในฐานะผู้แสดงและครูผู้สอนนาฏยศิลป์ไทยในวิทยาลัยนาฏศิลปมากกว่า 15 ปี ผลการวิจัยพบว่าอุปกรณ์การแสดงละครเรื่อง อิเหนา ของกรมศิลปากร สามารถแบ่งตามลักษณะการใช้งานได้ 4 หมวดคือ 1.ตั้งอยู่กับที่ 2.เคลื่อนไหว 3.อาวุธ และ 4.เบ็ดเตล็ด อุปกรณ์หมวดที่ 1 ใช้ตั้งหรือวางอยู่กับที่เพื่อแสดงฐานานุศักดิ์ของตัวละครที่เป็นกษัตริย์และพระราชวงศ์ การใช้อุปกรณ์ในหมวดนี้เลียนแบบจารีตการใช้เครื่องราชูปโภคของพระมหากษัตริย์ไทย อุปกรณ์หมวดที่ 2 แบ่งได้ 2 ประเภท คือ พาหนะและเครื่องสูงประเภทพาหนะมักย่อส่วนให้กระทัดรัดเหมาะแก่การแสดงนาฏยศิลป์ และมีจารีตการใช้อิงกระบวนการทางนาฏยศิลป์ไทย ประเภทเครื่องสูงมีจารีตการใช้เลียนแบบการใช้เครื่องสูงในกระบวนพยุหยาตราทางสถลมารคแต่มีขนาด มีความงดงาม และมีประมาณน้อยกว่าที่กำหนดไว้ในกระบวนพยุหยาตรา อุปกรณ์หมวดที่ 3 อาวุธเป็นอุปกรณ์สำคัญที่ใช้สำหรับการต่อสู้ การรำตรวจพล การรำอวดฝีมือและทำกิจกรรมอื่น ๆ ตามที่ระบุไว้ในบทละคร อาวุธที่สำคัญมี 4 ชนิด คือ ทวน หอกซัด กระบี่ และกริช ซึ่งเลียนแบบอาวุธจริงและมีจารีตการใช้อิงหลักนาฏยศิลป์ไทยประกอบหลักการใช้อาวุธในการรบจริง อุปกรณ์หมวดที่ 4 เป็นอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ ที่ใช้ประกอบตามเนื้อเรื่องและมีจารีตการใช้เยี่ยงการใช้อุปกรณ์ในชีวิตประจำวัน สรุปได้ว่า จารีตการใช้อุปกรณ์การแสดงละครเรื่อง อิเหนา ของกรมศิลปากร อิงระเบียบธรรมเนียมแห่งราชสำนักไทยพอสังเขปผนวกกับจารีตทางนาฏยศิลป์ไทย และวิธีใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันโดยพิจารณาความเหมาะสมในการแสดงแต่ละครั้งเป็นสำคัญ ผลจากงานวิจัยนี้คาดว่า จะสามารถนำไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการใช้อุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดงละครเรื่อง อิเหนา และละครรำเรื่องอื่น ๆ ที่ใช้อุปกรณ์ประเภทเดียวกัน

This thesis aims at studying the traditional uses of dance props in Inao productions of the Department of Fine Arts between 1965-1995. The study is based upon the Inao, dramatic literature, of King Rama II, retated documents, interviewing of experts, observing stage performances and video presentations, studying real props, and from the experience of the researcher who has been a dance teacher of the College of Dramatic Arts for more than 15 years. The research finds that the Inao dance props can be divided into four groups. First are those laid in place to be used and to indicate the royal status of the character in the play. Second group is devided into two kinds--vehicle and regalia. Vehicles are smaller than the real ones and the way to use them is based upon the dance trandition. Regalia imitating those of the street royal procession, are smaller in size, number of pieces, and less elaborated. Third are weapons of four important kinds--lance, javelin, sword and kris which are imitated the real weapons. The uses is based upon dance tradition and the martial arts. Fourth is the group of utensils required by the script and being used on stage similar to those of the everyday life. In conclusion the tradition uses of dance props in Inao of the Department of Fine Arts is based upon the rules and regulation of the royal court with the accompaniment of the dence tradition, and everyday custom. The results of this thesis may be a reference to the way in which dance props can be used properly in other tranditional plays.
