Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา วิธีการแต่งหน้าเพื่อสร้างภาพตัวแทนของตัวละครในละครโทรทัศน์ไทย และเพื่อให้เข้าใจถึงวิธีการแต่งหน้าเพื่อสร้างภาพ ตัวแทนของตัวละครในละครโทรทัศน์ไทยนั้น ได้นำเอาองค์ประกอบทางศิลปะเข้ามาประยุกต์ใช้ในการแต่งหน้า จากการศึกษาพบว่า การสร้างภาพตัวแทนด้วยการแต่งหน้าเพื่อสื่อความหมายลักษณะตัวละครของละครโทรทัศน์ไทย มีวิธีการ ขั้นตอนที่สอดคล้อง เชื่อมโยง และใกล้เคียงกัน ในส่วนของวิธีการแต่งหน้าเพื่อสร้างภาพตัวแทนในลักษณะของภาพต้นแบบ (Archetypes) นำไปสู่ภาพแบบฉบับ (Types) และภาพตายตัว (Stereotypes) โดยการแต่งหน้าต้องทำหน้าที่ในการสื่อความหมายถึงลักษณะอุปนิสัยของตัวละครในบทบาทของพระเอก นางเอก นางร้าย และผู้ร้าย โดยต้องนำความรู้ด้านองค์ประกอบทางศิลปะเข้ามาใช้ในการแต่งหน้า เพื่อทำให้การแต่งหน้านั้นมีความสมบูรณ์มากยิ่งขึ้น จากการใช้แนวความคิดการสร้างภาพตัวแทน คือ การแต่งหน้าตัวละครจะทำหน้าที่สะท้อนสภาพความเป็นจริงของมนุษย์ในสังคมปัจจุบัน ผ่านการนำเสนออย่างซ้ำๆ ของสื่อ โดยจะส่งผลที่ทำให้เกิดเป็นภาพตัวแทนขึ้น ซึ่งภาพตัวแทนจึงเปรียบเสมือนกระจกที่สะท้อนความเป็นจริงของมนุษย์ในสังคม การแต่งหน้าตัวละครถือได้ว่าเป็นการเสริมสร้างให้ตัวละครให้มีลักษณะที่เป็นไปตามบทบาทของเรื่องได้อย่างชัดเจนขึ้น ภาพตัวแทนจะมีระดับความเข้มข้นมากหรือน้อยนั้น ล้วนมีความแตกต่างกันออกไปตามเนื้อหาของเรื่องราวจากบทประพันธ์ ที่ส่งผลต่อวิธีการแต่งหน้าในการสร้างภาพตัวแทน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This qualitative research aimed to study how to do facial make-up for Representational images of Thai television drama characters and for the understanding of representational images of Thai television drama characters. The researcher brings the Art Compositions to apply to the facial make-up. This study revealed that Representational images by facial make-up signification of Thai television drama characters are consisted of similar methods and procedures. For the part of representational images by facial make-up in the pattern of “Archetypes" leads to “Types" and “Stereotypes". The facial make-up signifies the personalities of Thai characters in the roles of leading male actor, leading female actor, bad women, and villain. For this reason, it is a must to apply the Art Compositions to the facial make-up in order to enhance to perfectness of the facial make-up. Refer to the concept of representational images, facial make-up of Thai television drama characters will reflect the human reality in the present society via repeating media presentation. This occurs in representational images which are like a mirror reflecting the human reality in the society. Therefore, the facial make-up increases the reliability of Thai television drama characters so that it will be fit to their roles. Representational images will be taken into the make-up artist consideration more and less; it depends on the content of dramatic composition which affects the facial make-up method for Representational images.
