Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพเพื่อศึกษาชุมชนออนไลน์ของเยาวชน คือเว็บไซต์ www.dek-d.com เกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการของเว็บไซต์ การกำกับดูแลเนื้อหา การจัดระเบียบชุมชน อัตลักษณ์ของเยาวชน ลักษณะพื้นที่สาธารณะและเครือข่ายการสื่อสารของเยาวชน โดยอาศัยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ผลิตเว็บไซต์และผู้ใช้งานเว็บไซต์เป็นวิธีการเก็บข้อมูล จากการศึกษาพบว่า ชุมชนดังกล่าวก่อตัวจากเยาวชนที่ต้องการมีพื้นที่บนอินเทอร์เน็ตสำหรับกลุ่มเยาวชนได้เข้ามาแลกเปลี่ยนกันในเรื่องต่างๆ ทั้งสาระและความบันเทิง ผู้จัดทำเว็บไซต์เน้นการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ใช้งาน โดยไม่มีการจำกัดความหลากหลายของทัศนคติและข้อมูลข่าวสารที่เยาวชนสนใจ และเปิดให้ผู้ใช้งานเข้าใช้เว็บไซต์ได้อย่างอิสระ ภายใต้กฎและการกำกับดูแลร่วมกัน เนื้อหาที่ผลิตโดยผู้ใช้งานทำให้เนื้อหามีความน่าสนใจและทันสมัย ผู้ผลิตเว็บไซต์มีบทบาทคือให้บริการตามความสนใจของเยาวชนและควบคุมทิศทางเนื้อหาให้ไปในทิศทางที่เหมาะสม ถึงแม้ในปัจจุบันเว็บไซต์เข้าสู่สังคมผู้ประกอบการ แต่ทีมงานผู้ผลิตเว็บไซต์ยังมีการกลั่นกรองโฆษณาบนเว็บไซต์มิให้กระทบต่อวัตถุประสงค์ของเว็บไซต์ สิ่งเหล่านี้ทำให้เว็บไซต์เป็นเว็บไซต์ชุมชนที่มีคุณภาพเหมาะสมกับเยาวชน สำหรับการทำหน้าที่ของพื้นที่สาธารณะพบว่า เว็บไซต์แสดงออกถึงคุณลักษณะของพื้นที่สาธารณะสำหรับเยาวชน ในเรื่องของการเป็นพื้นที่การเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมเรื่องแอดมิชชัน ปัจจัยสำคัญที่นำไปสู่การเคลื่อนไหวคือการเผชิญปัญหาร่วมกัน การเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ต และบทบาทของผู้นำความคิด ถึงแม้การเคลื่อนไหวของเยาวชนไม่ได้นำไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาในระดับนโยบาย แต่สามารถกล่าวได้ว่าเว็บไซต์นี้สามารถเป็นพื้นที่ในการแสดงความตื่นตัวในเรื่องสิทธิของเยาวชนได้

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This qualitative research is aimed at studying youth on-line community : a case study of www.dek-d.com. The objectives of this research are to study the development of the website, youth identity, characteristics of public sphere and community networking of youth as reflected through the website. The study uses content analysis and in-depth interview to collect data from the webmasters and members of the website. According to the research, this on-line youth community was founded due to the desire of a group of youngsters for a website where they can exchange freely about education and entertainment. The information on the website is in trend because content is produced by youthful users. Webmasters produce the content by catering to the users’ interest and regulate the content in appropriate direction. Although the website has become commercial, the webmasters continued to filter advertising banners on the website to maintain the quality that suits the user community. The study also finds that the website has performed a role as a public sphere by providing space for exchange and movement related to the nationwide university Admission system. The main factors leading to the movement are common encounter with the problem, Internet access and role of opinion leaders. Although the movement did not lead to policy action, the website can be said to provide space for awareness about youth rights.
