Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความรักกับการประกอบสร้างตัวละครเอกหญิงในละครเพลงไทยร่วมสมัยที่ดัดแปลงมาจากวรรณกรรม ซึ่งมีการทบทวน ต่อรอง ตั้งคำถาม หรือยืนยันอุดมการณ์ปิตาธิปไตยในสังคมไทยร่วมสมัย ละครเพลงร่วมสมัยของไทยทุกเรื่องให้ความสำคัญกับตัวละครหญิงในฐานะที่เป็นตัวละครเอก และเน้นการนำเสนอเรื่องความรักของตัวละครเอกฝ่ายหญิงที่เทิดทูนความรักเป็นอุดมคติของชีวิต ได้แก่ ความรักระหว่างเพศ ความรักของครอบครัวในฐานะที่ตัวละครเป็นแม่และลูกสาว และความรักชาติ การศึกษาละครเพลงทำให้เข้าใจความรักกับการประกอบสร้างตัวละครเอกหญิงในละครเพลงไทยร่วมสมัยที่ดัดแปลงมาจากวรรณกรรม เพื่อสืบทอดอุดมการณ์ปิตาธิปไตย ผลการศึกษาสรุปได้ว่าละครเพลงไทยร่วมสมัยยืนยันความสำคัญของความรักทุกประเภท การศึกษาละครเพลงไทยร่วมสมัยทำให้เห็นการประกอบสร้างและยืนยันสถานภาพที่เป็นรองของผู้หญิงในสังคมแบบปิตาธิปไตยที่ให้ความสำคัญกับเพศชาย ตัวละครเอกหญิงซึ่งยึดมั่นในความรักถูกลวงให้เชื่อมั่นในอานุภาพความรักที่ยิ่งใหญ่จนทำให้ตัวละครสามารถทำได้ทุกอย่างเพื่อความรักและเพราะความรัก ความรักจึงมิใช่เป็นเพียงอารมณ์ความรู้สึกของมนุษย์เท่านั้น หากแต่ความรักได้รับการประกอบสร้างจากสังคมเพื่อใช้เป็นเครื่องมือร้อยรัดผู้หญิงไว้กับความเป็นรอง ชักนำให้ตัวละครเอกหญิงมีชีวิตอยู่ในกรอบความถูกต้องเหมาะสมตามขนบของความเป็นผู้หญิง เพื่อสนองต่อบทบาทความเป็นรองของผู้หญิงในสังคมปิตาธิปไตย

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this thesis is to study the development of the Thai contemporary musical theatre, as well as to analyze the principal female characters in Thai contemporary musical theatre through reviewing, querying, and defining the identities of women in Thai contemporary society. Every Thai contemporary musical theatre places importance on the female characters as the protagonists and highlights their love story. This study of Thai contemporary musical theatre enhances the understanding of the role of principal female characters and enables the formation of knowledge on the Thai contemporary musical. The study reveals the influence of Thai contemporary musical theatre in terms of using the principal female character as the protagonists, and praising love, marriage, and life partnership. However, the study also proves that Thai contemporary musical theatre develops and emphasizes the identities of the principal female characters. These female protagonists stand their ground when it comes to the myths about love; they hold such a great belief in the power of love they can do anything for love.
