Abstract

ศึกษาการปรากฏของ ท้องถิ่นอยุธยา ในงานประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทย พ.ศ. 2520-2547 โดยเริ่มจากการสำรวจ รวบรวม สถานภาพการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์อยุธยา หลังจากนั้นจะเป็นการวิเคราะห์งานประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์เหล่านั้น ซึ่งอธิบายเกี่ยวกับ ท้องถิ่นอยุธยา ที่ปรากฎอยู่ในประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทยระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2520-2547รวมทั้งศึกษาบริบทและปัจจัยที่ผลักดันให้เกิดการศึกษาท้องถิ่นอยุธยาในประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ท้องถิ่นอยุธยาที่ปรากฏในงานประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทย พ.ศ. 2520-2547 แบ่งเป็น 3 ระยะ ระยะแรก ความตื่นตัวของกระแสสังคมนิยมในช่วง พ.ศ. 2516-2519 ส่งผลต่อแนวคิดในการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ช่วงทศวรรษ 2520 จากการเน้นศูนย์กลางที่สถาบันกษัตริย์และชนชั้นปกครอง เริ่มมาให้ความสนใจกับชนชั้นใต้ปกครอง ซึ่งเป็นคนท้องถิ่นสว่นใหญ่ในสมัยอยุธยา ระยะที่สอง การจัดทำโครงการอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครศรีอยุธยาโดยกรมศิลปากรในช่วงทศวรรษที่ 2530 อันนำไปสู่การขึ้นทะเบียนอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครศรีอยุธยาเป็นมรดกโลกเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2534 ส่งผลต่อการขยายการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์อยุธยาที่กว้างขวาง ทำให้ท้องถิ่นอยุธยาในประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทย มีประเด็นที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น ถือเป็นช่วงการเติบโตของการศึกษาท้องถิ่นอยุธยา ระยะที่สาม การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวและธุรกิจบริการของพระนครศรีอยุธยา รวมถึงการจัดตั้งสถาบันด้านอยุธยาศึกษาในช่วงทศวรรษ 2540 ส่งผลต่อการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์อยุธยาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับท้องถิ่นและการท่องเที่ยว ประเด็นท้องถิ่นอยุธยาในประวัติศาสตร์นิพนธ์ไทย มีความหลากหลายและซับซ้อนมากขึ้น มีการสร้างประเด็นใหม่ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับการศึกษาท้องถิ่นอยุธยา นอกจากนี้ยังเกิดการขยายการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับท้องถิ่นอยุธยาสู่นักวิชาการท้องถิ่นอย่างกว้างขวาง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To examine the appearances of “local Ayutthaya" in Thai historiography in 1977-2004. It begins with the survey of Thai historiography of the Ayutthaya period. The state of research on Ayutthaya history from the nineteenth to the twentieth Centuries is also discussed. Subsequently, discussions and explanations on “Local Ayutthaya" indicated in Thai Historiography between 1977-2004 is analysed together with social contexts and factors leading to the studies of local Ayutthaya in Thai historiography. Local Ayutthaya in Thai historiography could be divided into 3 phases. The first phase sees the flourish of the socialist school of thought in 1973-1976. It shifted the studies of Thai history during mid 70’s from kings and ruling classes to the subordinates or local people in Ayutthaya society. In the second phase, the introduction of the Ayutthaya Historical Park Project in the post 80’s led to the establishment of Ayutthaya historic city as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1991. This event encouraged extensive studies on Ayutthaya History and shed light on new perspectives on local Ayutthaya in Thai Historiography. The third phase involved the promotion of tourism industry in Ayutthaya province and the establishment of the Institute of Ayutthaya Studies in the post 90’s. It resulted in shifting the direction of Ayutthaya history study in support of local and tourism aspects. More complicated perspectives on local Ayutthaya were introduced, which helped local scholars to expand their research in the area of local Ayutthaya Studies.
