Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์สองประการกล่าวคือ ประการแรก มุ่งศึกษาการแปลวรรณกรรมจีน โดยการเปรียบเทียบวรรณกรรมเรื่อง เฟิงเฉินเหยี่ยนอี้ ซึ่งเป็นต้นฉบับภาษาจีนกับเรื่อง ห้องสิน ซึ่งเป็นฉบับแปลภาษาไทย ในด้านรูปแบบการประพันธ์และสำนวนภาษาว่ามีความแตกต่างกันอย่างไร รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุของความแตกต่างนั้น และประการที่สอง ศึกษาอิทธิพลของเรื่อง ห้องสิน ที่มีต่อสังคมไทยในด้านวรรณกรรมและศิลปกรรม จากการศึกษาพบว่า เรื่อง เฟิงเฉินเหยี่ยนอี้ และเรื่อง ห้องสิน มีความแตกต่างกันทั้งในด้านรูปแบบการประพันธ์และเนื้อความ ความไม่ตรงกันของวรรณกรรมทั้งสองฉบับเกิดจากสาเหตุสองประการคือ ความแตกต่างทางด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรมระหว่างจีนกับไทย และข้อจำกัดด้านวิธีการแปลและลักษณะการแปลวรรณกรรมจีนสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ตอนต้น สาเหตุดังกล่าวส่งผลให้มีการใช้กลวิธีการแปลหลากหลายแนวทางเพื่อถ่ายทอดเนื้อความจากต้นฉบับมาสู่บทแปล สำหรับผลการวิจัยอิทธิพลของเรื่อง ห้องสิน ที่มีต่อสังคมไทยด้านวรรณกรรมและศิลปกรรมพบว่า เรื่อง ห้องสิน ส่งอิทธิพลต่อวรรณกรรมไทยสองลักษณะคือ การรับอิทธิพลโดยการดัดแปลงและการรับอิทธิพลโดยการยืมหรืออ้างถึงเนื้อความ ส่วนอิทธิพลของเรื่อง ห้องสิน ที่มีต่อศิลปกรรมในประเทศไทยพบว่า ความนิยมวรรณกรรมเรื่อง ห้องสิน เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญทำให้มีการนำวรรณกรรมเรื่อง ห้องสิน มาประยุกต์ในงานศิลปกรรมประเภทต่างๆ โดยภาพที่ปรากฏมักเลือกจากเหตุการณ์หรือตัวละครซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักดีในวรรณกรรม

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This research serves two main purposes. The first part of the thesis is to study the translation of a Chinese literary work by comparing Fengshen Yanyi, a Chinese original story, with Hongsin, a Thai version in terms of the similarity and difference of writing style and expression, including analyzing the causes of such differences.The second part is to study the influence of Hongsin on literature and art in Thai society. The research found that Fengshen Yanyi and Hongsin are different in both writing style and expressions. The discrepancies between the two versions derive from two key factors. First is the differences in language and culture between Chinese and Thai. Second is the limitation of translation methods and the ways of Chinese literary translation in the early Rattanakosin period. The above factors are important reasons resulting in the various strategies used for text translation. As for the result of the research on the influence of Hongsin on literature and art in Thai society, it was found that Hongsin has an impact on Thai literatures in two aspects: by adaptation and by borrowing or referring to related subjects. In the influence of Hongsin on art it was also found that the popularity of Hongsin is the important factor that caused Hongsin to be applied to several art works. The images have always been selected from the well-known scenes and characters in Hongsin.
