Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการพัฒนาหลักสูตรเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นงานปฏิบัติ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และ 6 ในโรงเรียนเอกชน การดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 4 ขั้นตอน คือ ตอนที่ 1 การ ศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพื้นฐาน โดยการศึกษาวิเคราะห์จากหนังสือ เอกสาร และรายงานการวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การวิเคราะห์ความต้องการของผู้เรียน การวิเคราะห์แบบเรียน และการวิเคราะห์งานปฏิบัติ ตอนที่ 2 การพัฒนาหลักสูตร เป็นการกำหนดองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญของหลักสูตร และจัดทำเอกสารประกอบหลักสูตร แล้วให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิประเมินเอกสารหลักสูตร ตอนที่ 3 การทดลองใช้หลักสูตร ได้นำหลักสูตรไปทดลองใช้กับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โดยกลุ่มทดลองสอนตามแผนการสอนของหลักสูตรที่พัฒนาขึ้น และกลุ่มควบคุมสอนตามแผนการสอนปกติ ตอนที่ 4 การประเมินหลักสูตร เป็นการพิจารณาค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษของกลุ่มทดลอง ซึ่งเป็นผลของการใช้หลักสูตร ผลการวิจัยปรากฎดังนี้ (1) ได้หลักสูตรเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นงานปฏิบัติ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และ 6 ในโรงเรียนเอกชน รวมทั้งเอกสารประกอบหลักสูตรและตัวอย่างแผนการสอน หลักสูตร มีองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญครบถ้วน เป็นหลักสูตรที่ใช้งานปฏิบัติเป็นหลักในการวิเคราะห์งานปฏิบัติที่นำมาใช้ตรงกับความต้องการของผู้เรียน และส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนได้ใช้ภาษาในการปฏิบัติงานให้เป็นผลสำเร็จ ( 2 ) ผลการทดลองใช้หลักสูตรปรากฎว่าค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษของกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 แต่กลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยหลังการเรียนเพิ่มขึ้น .95 ของค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานของกลุ่ม ในขณะที่กลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเพิ่มขึ้น .62 (3) กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษคิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.62 คือเพิ่มขึ้นถึงร้อยละ 16.03 ของคะแนนเต็ม

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this study was to develop the activating English language skills curriculum using task-based approach for Prathom suksa 5 and 6 students in private schools. The research procedure was : 1) collecting and analyzing basic data from books, documents and relevant researches,] learner ’s need analysis, text analysis and task analysis, 2) developing curriculum by setting the! key elements of curriculum and supplementary materials, then it was evaluated by the experts, 3) I implementing curriculum by teaching Prathom suksa 5 students, the experimental group was taught! by using the lesson plans according to the developed curriculum and the controlled group was taught by using the treaditional lesson plans, 4) evaluating the curriculum by determining from the achievement scores of the experimental group. Outcomes of the study : ( 1 ) the activating English language skills curriculum using task-based [approach, the supplementary materialร and sample lesson plans : the curriculum consisted of all key elements and used task as the unit of analysis, tasks were selected according to learner’s need and enhanced the use of English to achieve the assigned task ( 2 ) after teaching, there was no significant ! differences at the .05 level of the post-test achievement mean score between the experimental group and the controlled group, but gain score of the experimental group was .95 of its standard deviation while the controlled group was only .62 ( 3 ) the achievement mean score of the experimental group was 65.62 which was increased 16.03 percent by the full score.
