Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาวิเคราะห์วัจนลีลาในการเสนอภาพลักษณ์สังคมเมืองในกวีนิพนธ์ของไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม ทั้งในด้านลีลาการใช้ภาษา กลวิธีการนำเสนอ ฉันทลักษณ์ที่ใช้ และทัศนะของกวีที่มีต่อสังคมเมือง ผลการวิจัยสรุปว่า ไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม เลือกสรรถ้อยคำใช้เสนอเนื้อหาอย่างเหมาะสม โดยใช้คำเรียบง่ายแต่เล่นคำ เล่นสัมผัส และมีความโดดเด่นทั้งด้านเสียงและความหมาย การใช้คำและภาษานั้นมุ่งเน้นคำที่มีนัยทางความรู้สึกเชิงนามธรรมเป็นส่วนใหญ่ โดยมุ่งเน้นความรู้สึกขมขื่น เศร้าสร้อย และหดหู่ใจมาบรรยายภาพลักษณ์ของสังคมเมือง นอกจากนี้ไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม ยังใช้สัญลักษณ์เชื่อมโยงความคิดผู้อ่านให้เห็นภาพลักษณ์ของเมืองได้อย่างแยบยล ด้านกลวิธีการนำเสนอนั้น ไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม จะใช้กลวิธีเล่าเรื่องเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ทั้งที่เล่าเรื่องแบบธรรมดาและเล่าเรื่องผ่านบทสนทนาของตัวละคร และกลวิธีที่สำคัญคือการใช้ภาษาเชิงเสียดสีและประชดประชัน ประกอบกับการใช้สัญลักษณ์ในเชิงนามธรรมเพื่อให้ผู้อ่านตีความทั้งภาพและความหมายเชื่อมโยงกันเป็นภาพลักษณ์สังคมเมือง นอกจากนี้ไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม ยังใช้ฉันทลักษณ์ที่สามารถนำมาสื่อเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับสังคมเมืองได้อย่างเหมาะสม โดยเลือกสรรฉันทลักษณ์ให้สอดคล้องกับเนื้อหาและจุดประสงค์ซึ่งแฝงนัยความหมายอันเป็นเหตุผลและสารสำคัญในการเลือกใช้ฉันทลักษณ์แบบต่างๆ ไว้ด้วย จากการศึกษาองค์ประกอบทุกๆ ด้านดังที่กล่าวมาล้วนสะท้อนให้เห็นทัศนะของไพวรินทร์ ขาวงาม ที่มีต่อสังคมเมืองว่ามีทัศนคติแง่ลบกับสังคมเมือง และต้องการชี้ให้เห็นว่าสังคมชนบทนั้นเป็นสังคมในอุดมคติ โดยสังเกตได้จากน้ำเสียงที่กล่าวถึงสังคมชนบทในแง่ดี ซึ่งตรงข้ามกับน้ำเสียงในการกล่าวถึงสังคมเมือง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This thesis aims at studying the stylistics of the presentation of urban society in the poetry of Phaiwarin Khaongam; emphasizing on style, presentation, verse forms and his attitude towards urban society. It can be concluded that Phaiwarin Khaongam is greatly careful in selecting appropriate words and figures of speech in order to present the content in his works. The language use is usually simple yet with prominent beauty of sounds and meanings. Mostly, the language use is presented through words expressing bitter and sorrowful feelings, especially in abstract words. As for his literary presentation, Phaiwarin Khaongam uses both narration and conversation of character in the texts. The significant feature is the use of satires and symbols. Besides, he neatly selects verse forms in harmony with the content, the theme and the symbolic meanings in his works. The style of the language use reflects the attitude of Phaiwarin Khaongam that he has a negative attitude towards urban society and he wants to advocate rural society as the ideal society. This could be clearly noticed in the tone he uses in his works.
