Abstract

ยุวดี องค์เทียนสัคค์ : การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบคำว่า ‘hui’ ‘neng’ ‘keyi’ ในภาษาจีนกลางกับคำว่า‘ได้’ในภาษาไทย การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความหมายและลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์ของ คำกริยาช่วย ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ และเพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความหมายและลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์ของคำกริยาช่วย ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ ในภาษาจีนกลาง กับคำ ‘ได้’ ในภาษาไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คำกริยาช่วย ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ ที่แสดงความหมายเหมือนกัน บางบริบทสามารถใช้แทนที่กันได้ บางบริบทไม่สามารถใช้แทนที่กันได้ ทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับรายละเอียดด้านความหมายและลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์ที่แตกต่างกันของคำกริยาช่วยแต่ละคำ คำกริยาช่วย ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ สามารถถอดความเป็นภาษาไทยที่ตรงกันกับคำ ‘ได้’ ในภาษาไทย แต่ความหมายที่สอดคล้องกันมีสองความหมายคือคำกริยาช่วย ‘hui’ ‘neng’ ‘keyi’ และ ‘ได้’ ที่แสดงถึงความสามารถ และคำกริยาช่วย ‘neng’ ‘keyi’ และ ‘ได้’ ที่แสดงการอนุญาต ถึงแม้ ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ จะทำหน้าที่เป็นคำกริยาช่วยในประโยคเหมือนกัน แต่มีลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์บางอย่างที่แตกต่างกัน โดยส่วนใหญ่แล้ว คำกริยาช่วยทั้ง ‘hui’ ‘neng’ และ ‘keyi’ และ ‘ได้’ ทำหน้าที่ขยายความหมายของคำกริยาในประโยค

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This is a study to compare the semantics and the grammar of the auxiliary verbs ‘hui’ ‘neng’ and ‘keyi’ in Mandarin Chinese and to compare these findings with the auxiliary verb ‘dai’/daj/ in Thai. It is found that the auxiliary verbs ‘hui’, ‘neng’ and ‘keyi’ sometimes have the same meanings and these common meanings can sometimes be used interchangeably. The uses for these verbs talk into consideration their definitions and grammatical differences. ‘Hui’, ‘neng’ and ‘keyi’ can be translated to ‘dai’/daj/ in Thai and they have two common meanings. ‘Hui’,‘neng’, ‘keyi’ and ‘dai’/daj/ can be translated to mean “ability", conversely ‘neng’, ‘keyi’ and ‘dai’/daj/ can also be translated to mean “allowing". Although ‘hui’, ‘neng’ and ‘keyi’ are auxiliary verbs, they are generally used to modify other verbs but in grammatical uses there are some differences.
