Abstract

มหาวิทยาลัยในด้านวัตถุประสงค์ วิธีการเข้าถึง ความถี่ของการใช้ ประเภทของบริการบนเว็บไซต์ที่ใช้ และปัญหาในการใช้ ตลอดจนการไม่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ และสาเหตุที่ไม่ใช้ การดำเนินการวิจัย ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล จากอาจารย์จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จำนวน 268 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า อาจารย์จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยส่วนใหญ่ ไม่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ สำหรับอาจารย์ที่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการส่วนใหญ่ ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการเพื่อประกอบการวิจัย เพื่อประกอบการสอน และเพื่อเพิ่มพูนความรู้ อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่เข้าถึงเว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ โดยยูอาร์แอลของเว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ และโดยการเชื่อมโยงจากเว็บไซต์จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ทั้งนี้อาจารย์มีความถี่ของการใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ แตกต่างกัน บริการบนเว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการที่อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ ได้แก่ บริการฐานข้อมูลของห้องสมุดและเครือข่ายห้องสมุดจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และบริการฐานข้อมูลเพื่อการค้นคว้าวิจัย ซึ่งเป็นบริการที่อาจารย์มีความพึงพอใจในระดับมาก โดยปัญหาที่อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ประสบในการใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ คือ การสื่อสารมีความเร็วต่ำ และไม่มีเวลาเพียงพอในการใช้เว็บไซต์ส่วนอาจารย์ที่ไม่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ ส่วนใหญ่ใช้เว็บไซต์อื่นๆ บนเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต และไม่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการด้วยสาเหตุที่หลากหลาย แต่อาจารย์เหล่านี้ส่วนใหญ่ต้องการใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ นอกจากนี้ อาจารย์ที่ใช้และไม่ใช้เว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการ ต้องการใช้บริการต่างๆ บนเว็บไซต์สถาบันวิทยบริการหลายบริการ ทั้งบริการที่มีอยู่บนเว็บไซต์ และบริการที่ยังไม่มีบนเว็บไซต์ในขณะที่ศึกษา โดยมีความต้องการใช้ในระดับมากเหมือนกัน 9 บริการ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To study Chulalongkorn University faculty members' use of the Center of Academic Resources Web Site in terms of purposes of use, means of access, frequency of use, services on the web site used and problems encountered; and to study Chulalongkorn University faculty members' non-use of the web site and their reasons. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 268 faculty members of Chulalongkorn University. The results can be summarized as follows: most of Chulalongkorn University faculty members do not use the Center of Academic Resources Web Site. Considering most of the faculty members who use the web site, it is found that they use it for research, teaching and increasing knowledge. The URL of the web site and the link from Chulalongkorn University Web Site are used as means of access. However, their frequency of use is varied. The services used are Library Catalog and Chulalinet and CU Reference Databases which satisfy them at high level. The problems encountered are low speed of communication and lack of time to use it. Regarding most of the faculty members who do not use the web site, it is found that they still use other web sites on the Internet and their reasons for not using the web site are varied. Nevertheless, they still want to use the web site. Besides, it is found that the faculty members who use and do not use the web site need to use many services either the ones already exist on the web site or the ones that are not available when this research is being conducted. There are 9 similar services that those using and not using the web site need at high level.
