Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการใช้ตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา ต่อความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแล โดยศึกษาระดับความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา และเปรียบเทียบความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาระหว่างก่อนและหลังการใช้ ตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาที่เข้ารับการรักษาเป็นผู้ป่วยสามัญในแผนกอายุรกรรม สถาบันประสาทวิทยา แผนกอายุรกรรม และอายุรกรรมประสาท โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ และอยู่ในช่วงวางแผนจำหน่ายผู้ป่วยแห่งละ 15 คน จำนวน 30 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา และแบบวัดระดับความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ระดับความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาก่อนการใช้ตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 2.52 2. ระดับความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาหลังการใช้ตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพา อยู่ในระดับตํ่า โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 1.51 3. ความเครียดในบทบาทของผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาหลังการใช้ตัวแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องพึ่งพาทั้งรายด้านและโดยรวมน้อยกว่าก่อนการใช้ตัวแบบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of using a dependent elderly caring model on the role stress of caregivers by comparing the role stress that caregivers experienced before and after the caring model was used. The subjects were 30 randomly- selected caregivers who regularly cared for dependent elderly patients. These patients were in the discharge planning stage in the Medical Department of the Institute of Neurology and the Medical Department, Neurological - Medical Department of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. The instruments used in the study consisted of the dependent elderly caring model and the measure of role stress of caregivers. The findings of this study revealed that : 1. Before using the dependent elderly caring model, the role stress of caregivers was moderate. (X = 2.52) 2. After using the dependent elderly caring model, the role stress of the caregivers was lower. (X = 1.51) 3. After using the dependent elderly caring model, each component and total role stress of cargivers was significantly lower than before using caring model. (Level of significance [p] < -05).
