Abstract

ระบบการเข้าเยี่ยมผู้ต้องขังของทัณฑสถาน ในสังกัดกรมราชทัณฑ์ ต้องรองรับกับปริมาณผู้ขอเข้าเยี่ยมในแต่ละวันเป็นจำนวนมาก เนื่องจากข้อจำกัดของจำนวนการเข้าเยี่ยมในแต่ละวันและความล่าช้าในการตรวจสอบสถานะของผู้ต้องขัง ทำให้เกิดความหนาแน่นในระบบการเข้าเยี่ยม ประชาชนผู้ใช้บริการไม่ได้รับความสะดวกและเสียเวลาในการรอคอย กรณีผู้ต้องขังมีชื่อและนามสกุลซ้ำกัน จะเกิดปัญหาในการขอเข้าเยี่ยมเนื่องจากขาดระบบการสืบค้นข้อมูลที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการพิสูจน์ตัวผู้ต้องขังที่ถูกขอเข้าเยี่ยมสำหรับระบบการรับฝากเงิน ก็ประสบปัญหาในการพิสูจน์ตัวผู้ต้องขังในลักษณะเดียวกัน ในปัจจุบันทัณฑสถาน อนุญาตให้ทำการฝากเงินได้ก็ต่อเมื่อ ผู้ฝากเงินทราบแดนต้องขังของผู้ต้องขังแล้วเท่านั้น การศึกษาระบบการเข้าเยี่ยมผู้ต้องขังและระบบการรับฝากเงิน เพื่อพัฒนาระบบดังกล่าว โดยทำการศึกษาจากทัณฑสถานบำบัดพิเศษกลาง กรมราชทัณฑ์ ทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสารต่าง ๆ ที่ใช้ในระบบงานเดิมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวิจัย สัมภาษณ์เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานและการสังเกตุการณ์ ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นทำงานภายใต้ระบบปฏิบัติการโอเอสทู (OS/2) ระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูลดีบีทู (DB2) และระบบจัดการเครือข่ายแลนเซิร์ฟเวอร์ (LAN Server) ของบริษัทไอบีเอ็ม มีสถาปัตยกรรมเครือข่ายแบบบัสและแบบดาว โปรแกรมประยุกต์ที่ใช้ในระบบแบ่งเป็น 5 โปรแกรมย่อยเพื่อใช้กับส่วนรับผิดชอบของทัณฑสถาน ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวิจัย ซึ่งได้แก่ ห้องลงทะเบียนเข้าเยี่ยม จุดรับผู้ต้องขังใหม่ หมวดแรงงานฝ่ายทัณฑปฏิบัติ และฝ่ายการเงิน โปรแกรมจะทำการเชื่อมต่อคอมพิวเตอร์ผู้ใช้บริการในส่วนรับผิดชอบต่างๆ เข้ากับระบบฐานข้อมูลที่เครื่องให้บริการ ระบบจะทำการตรวจสอบรหัสผ่านของผู้ใช้ก่อนทำการเข้าถึงฐานข้อมูล

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Prisoner visiting system in the Department of Corrections had to support many visitors each day. The present system could not service all visitors. There was the delay in prisoner status checking, the visiting system became congested and the visitors do not get a good service and spend a long time waiting. In the case of prisoners’ name or surname duplication, it will cause the visiting registration problems due to the lack of an efficient search engine for prisoners information. The currency system also suffers the same problems in prisoners verification. Nowadays, Department of Corrections only let the visitors deposit the money for the prisoner, if the visitors know the prison’s zone. A study on prisoner visiting system and currency system was developed to improve such the systems, at the Central Correctional Institute. The system was done by collecting related documents used in and observing the former working system as well as interviewing the officers. The system developed run under OS/2 operating system with DB2 database management system and LAN Server network management system from IBM. Network topologies were bus and star. The system application was divided into 5 subprograms corresponding to each related function of the prison including Visiting Registration Room, Receiving Section, Control Section, Registration Section and Currency Section. The system will check a user’s password before granting access to the database.
