Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาสถานภาพและแนวโน้มการใช้เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ในกิจการสถานีโทรทัศน์ รวมทั้งศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้บริหาร ผู้ปฏิบัติการ และผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องเกี่ยวกับประโยชน์และอุปสรรคในการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์เข้ามาใช้ในกิจการสถานีโทรทัศน์โดยนำการศึกษากับประชากร ได้แก่ ผู้บริหาร เจ้าหน้าที่รับผิดชอบ และผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ของสถานีโทรทัศน์ทุกแห่งที่ดำเนินการออกอากาศอยู่ โดยเก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ประกอบกับการศึกษาจากข้อมูลเอกสาร และ Web Site ของสถานีโทรทัศน์แห่งต่างๆ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สำหรับในด้านสถานภาพการใช้งานเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ในปัจจุบันสถานีโทรทัศน์ทุกแห่ง ได้นำเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์มาใช้ในประเภทและระบบของงานที่ต่างกันหลายลักษณะ ได้แก่ งานสร้างภาพกราฟฟิค และตัวอักษร งานสร้างภาพพิเศษบนฉากหลัง ระบบกล้อง และเทปบันทึกภาพ ระบบตัดต่อข่าวและรายการ ระบบควบคุมการออกอากาศ ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ควบคุมแสง ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ควบคุมการบันทึกเสียง ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์เครือข่ายที่ใช้ในการบริหารจัดการในหน่วยงาน งานสร้าง Web Site ของสถานี และงานประเภทอื่นๆ ในสำนักงาน เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์มีประโยชน์สำหรับกิจการสถานีโทรทัศน์ ได้แก่ ช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายในการผลิตรายการ ช่วยลดเวลาในการผลิตรายการ ช่วยเพิ่มสีสันและสร้างเทคนิคพิเศษให้กับสภาพช่วยลดทรัพยากรในการผลิตรายการ และช่วยลดการทำงานที่ซ้ำซ้อน ในขณะที่ปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดขึ้นเกี่ยวกับการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์มาใช้งานในกิจการสถานีโทรทัศน์ มี 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ปัญหาด้านฮาร์ดแวร์ ปัญหาด้านซอฟต์แวร์ และปัญหาด้านบุคลากร ความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการใช้เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ในกิจการสถานีโทรทัศน์ในอนาคต พบว่า เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์จะเข้ามามีบทบาทเพิ่มขึ้นในการทำงานทุกด้าน ทั้งในด้านการผลิตรายการกระบวนการทำงานด้านงานข่าว และงานควบคุมการออกอากาศ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This study aims at investigating the status and trends of using computer technology in Thai television business as well as the opinion of the executives, officers and relevant group regarding benefits and obstacles of using computer technology in Thai television business. Population of this study includes Thai television businesses. In-depth interview, Thai television business's documents and web site information were included in data collection methods. At present, Thai television businesses use computer technology in many different working systems namely graphic and character production, special background, camera system and recording, news and program editing system, broadcasting control system, computer control light system, computer control sound recording system, computer network system for management, who site creativity and many other works in the business. Computer technology decreases expenses and time for television production, increases liveliness and special effects on pictures, increases wise use of resources and decreases redundancy in work process. Problems and obstacles regarding the use of computer technology in Thai television business can be concluded into 3 areas : hardware, software and peopleware problems. Key informats also suggested the use of computer technology in Thai television business in the future. Computer technology will be increasingly used in every area of television business including program production, news production and broadcasting control
