Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษาสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัยในสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนภาคเหนือ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนภาคเหนือ จำนวน 287 แห่ง เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบสังเกต ผลของการวิจัยมีข้อค้นพบสำคัญดังนี้1. การจัดสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อพัฒนาการทางภาษาสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนภาคเหนือ มีการจัดสภาพแวดล้อมทั้งภายในและภายนอก ห้องพัฒนาการ และ/ หรือ ห้องอเนกประสงค์ที่เอื้อต่อพัฒนาการทางภาษา อยู่ในระดับการปฏิบัติ ปานกลาง 2. การดำเนินการส่งเสริมการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษา ผู้ประกอบการสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนภาคเหนือ มีการดำเนินการส่งเสริมการจัด กิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษา อยู่ในระดับการปฏิบัติปานกลาง 3. การจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษาสำหรับเด็กวัย 2 - 3 ปี พี่เลี้ยงเด็กสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนภาคเหนือ ได้มีการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษาสำหรับเด็กวัย 2 - 3 ปี ทางด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการฟัง อยู่ในระดับการปฏิบัติมาก กิจกรรมการพูด การอ่าน และ การเขียน อยู่ในระดับการปฏิบัติปานกลาง ปัญหาที่พบ คือ1. พี่เลี้ยงเด็กขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจในด้านการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษา ในขณะที่ภาษาที่บ้านและที่ใช้ในชุมชนของเด็กและพี่เลี้ยงเด็กเป็นภาษาถิ่นเหนือ ภาษา ที่ใช้เป็นทางการในสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชน คือ ภาษาไทยกลาง จึงพบว่า มีช่องว่างในการสื่อสาร ระหว่างเด็กที่ยังใช้ภาษาไทยกลางไม่ได้กับพี่เลี้ยงเด็กซึ่งใช้ภาษาไทยกลาง 2. สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชนมีงบประมาณไม่เพียงพอในการจัดสภาพแวดล้อม สื่อ วัสดุ และ อุปกรณ์Iนการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางภาษา

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research was to study the state and problems in organizing language development enhancement activities for young children in private day care centers in the northern region.The population of this study were 287 private day care centers in the northern region. The data were collected by using questionnaires | interview and observation. The findings on the state of organizing language enhancing activities were as follows : 1. The provision of supportive environment for language development The private day care centers in the northern region set up fairly good child development rooms and/or multipurpose rooms for language development both indoor and outdoor.2. The supportive operation of language development enhancement activities The owners of the private day care centers in the northern region moderately supported language development enhancement activities. 3. The organizing of language development enhancement activities for children of 2-3 years of age The listening activities were most highly organized by the caregivers. Speaking 5 reading and writing activities were moderately organized. The problems in organizing language development enhancement activities wereas follows :1. The caregivers lacked knowledge and understanding of organizing language development activities. Whereas the children ' s and caregivers ' language at home and in the community was Northern Thai dialect, the private day care centers ' s official language was Central Thai. Communication gap was found between the children who had not yet mastered the Central Thai and the Central Thai speaking caregivers.2. The private day care centers had insufficient budgets for organizing the environment | media | and raw-materials for language development activities.
