Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาการดำเนินงานโครงการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคขาดสารไอโอดีนในโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ตามการรับรู้ของครูอนามัยโรงเรียน ผู้วิจัยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นส่งไปยังกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นครูอนามัยโรงเรียนในเขตพื้นที่ 14 อำเภอ โรงเรียนละ 1 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 300 โรงเรียน ได้รับแบบสอบถามที่สมบูรณ์ครบถ้วนกลับคืนมา จำนวน 278 ฉบับ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 92.66 และนำข้อมูลมาแจกแจงความถี่ วิเคราะห์หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ด้านการติดตามและประเมินผล มีปัญหาอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ เรื่องไม่มีการจัดทำเครื่องมือเพื่อใช้ในการประเมินผลโครงการฯ และไม่ได้จัดตั้งคณะกรรมการในการประเมินผลการดำเนินการโครงการฯ 2. ด้านสถานที่ อุปกรณ์ และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก มีปัญหาอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ เรื่องสิ่งสนับสนุนในโรงเรียน เช่น หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมในเรื่องโรคขาดสารไอโอดีนมีไม่เพียงพอ และเกลือไอโอดีนที่ใช้ปรับปรุงอาหารในโครงการอาหารกลางวันมีไม่เพียงพอ 3. ด้านการวางแผน มีปัญหาอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ เรื่องการประชุมเพื่อวางแผนร่วมกันระหว่างครูกับผู้ปกครองนักเรียนเป็นไปอย่างไม่ต่อเนื่อง ไม่มีการสำรวจการได้รับสารไอโอดีนในชุมชนของนักเรียน และไม่มีการจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติการดำเนินงานโครงการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคขาดสารไอโอดีนในโรงเรียน 4. ด้านบุคลากร มีปัญหาอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ เรื่องครูอนามัยโรงเรียนขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจและขาดทักษะในการตรวจค้นหาอาการคอพอกโดยการคลำคอ ขาดความร่วมมือในการดำเนินงานโครงการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคขาดสารไอโอดีนจากครูอื่นๆ ในโรงเรียน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research were to study the problems in the management of prevention and control of iodine deficiency program in elementary schools under the office of Ubonrachathani Provincial Primary Education as perceived by school health teachers. A questionnaire constructed by the researcher were sent to 300 health teachers from schools in 14 selected districts. Two hundred and seventy-eight questionnaires, accounted for 922.66 percent were completed and returned to the researcher. The data were than analyzed to obtain percentage, means and standard deviations. The findings were as follows: 1. In the area of follow up and evaluation, there was no program evaluation and there was no school committee to evaluate the program were found to be the problems at a high level. 2. In the area of places, materials and facilities, the problems were at a high level regarding educational supporting materials, there were : (1) additional reading on iodine deficiency ; and a shortage of iodine salf for the school lunch program. 3. In the planning, the problems were at a high level, there were: (1) discontinuous planning between parents and teachers ; (2) no surveys done of iodine intake of students in their community ; and (3) no action plans regarding prevention and control of iodine deficiency in school were made. 4. In the area of personnels, the problems were at a high level, there were : a lack of knowledge, understanding and skills by health teachers in detecting goiter among students. There was a lack of cooperation from other teachers in school regarding the management of prevention and control of prevention control of iodine deficiency program
