Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบความทรงจำร่วมและการสื่อความหมายจากมุมมองตัวละครผู้ถูกกระทำในภาพยนตร์สงครามโลกครั้งที่สองของสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ตัวบท (Textual analysis) จากภาพยนตร์เยอรมัน 7 เรื่อง ที่เข้าฉายในโรงภาพยนตร์ตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ 2533 -2558 และจากการรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบความทรงจำร่วมในภาพยนตร์ประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วนคือ ส่วนที่ 1 รูปแบบการเล่าเรื่อง ได้แก่ รูปแบบประสบการณ์ รูปแบบคู่ปรปักษ์ รูปแบบสะท้อน และรูปแบบผสม โดยรูปแบบที่ต่างส่งผลต่อความทรงจำที่จะต่างออกไปด้วย ส่วนที่ 2 กลวิธีการสร้างความทรงจำมีการนำเสนอข้อมูลทางประวัติศาสตร์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ได้แก่ การใช้ข้อความบรรยายเสริม ใช้ภาพจากบุคคลจริง และภาพยนตร์หรือเสียงบันทึกจากช่วงเวลาจริงเพื่อเสริมความเข้าใจและสร้างความน่าเชื่อถือให้ภาพยนตร์ มีการนำเสนอเหตุการณ์ในภาพยนตร์และสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมแก่ผู้ชมผ่านองค์ประกอบภาพยนตร์ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย องค์ประกอบด้านภาพ องค์ประกอบด้านแสงและเงาองค์ประกอบด้านสี และองค์ประกอบด้านฉาก เพื่อนำเสนอภาพความเสียหายในช่วงสงคราม, นำเสนอทุกข์ของตัวละคร | ชะตากรรมที่ตกเป็นรองของตัวละคร สร้างความสมจริงและสร้างบรรยากาศหดหู่ นอกจากนี้ยังใช้การตัดต่อระหว่างฉากเพื่อสะท้อนถึงภาวะจิตใจตัวละครหรือเพื่อสื่อสารกับผู้ชมโดยตรง การสื่อความหมายจากมุมมองผู้ถูกกระทำ พบว่ามีการสื่อถึงความเจ็บปวดโดยการนำเสนอภาพความเจ็บปวดทั้งที่เกิดแก่ร่างกายและจิตใจของตัวละคร ในภาพยนตร์ที่นำเสนอเหตุการณ์ในสงครามกลุ่มผู้ถูกกระทำจะเป็นประชากรทั้งหมดและตัวละครเอกมักเป็นผู้ที่สนับสนุนรัฐบาล ส่วนภาพยนตร์ที่นำเสนอตัวละครเอกที่มีลักษณะต่อต้านรัฐบาลหรือไม่อาจอยู่ภายใต้ระบอบนาซีได้กลุ่มตัวละครเอกจะถูกกระทำเลวร้ายเป็นพิเศษ โดยลักษณะของผู้ถูกกระทำจากทั้ง 7 เรื่อง มี 3 ลักษณะ คือ ลักษณะน่าเห็นใจ ลักษณะน่าชื่นชม และลักษณะที่ให้ความรู้สึกเป็นกลาง ส่วนการนำเสนอสาเหตุของความเจ็บปวดมี 2 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ ต้นตอความเจ็บปวดคือนาซีและมีการนำเสนอตัวละครคู่ปรปักษ์ซึ่งเป็นภาพแทนของระบอบ อีกลักษณะคือต้นตอความเจ็บปวดคือระบอบความเชื่อ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This qualitative research looks at seven German movies about the Second World War (WWII) that were in theaters between 1990 to 2015. The purpose is to find the commonalities among these movies in two following areas; the collective memory and the depiction of the victims’ experience. The results were obtained from textual analysis of the aforementioned movies, along with the information gathered from related research studies. It is found that the collective memory is portrayed by two strategies; storytelling and memory constructing. The former was further divided into four sub-categories; experiential mode, antagonistic mode, reflexive, and mixed mode. The latter refers to the concrete representation of historical information by the use of forced narratives, pictures of historical figures, footages or audio records that are historical primary sources. The historical information serves not only to facilitate audience’s understanding, but also to establish credibility of the plots. Furthermore, to construct WWII memory and to evoke audience’s empathy, elements of films were implemented. It is found that the depiction of the victims’ experience focuses primarily on both physical and psychological ordeals that the victimized characters went through. The characters in question were found to have one of the following characteristics; lamentable, laudable, or neutral. The source of suffering of the characters in the movies is either concrete or abstract. The concrete source of suffering is the Nazi itself as a regime or a group of people. The abstract antagonist is portrayed not as an organization, but rather as a set of ideologies or beliefs.
