Abstract

การวิจัยนี้ ศึกษาเนื้อหาคอลัมน์วิพากษ์สื่อในมติชนสุดสัปดาห์ และสยามรัฐสัปดาห์วิจารณ์ โดยพิจารณาว่าคอลัมน์ในนิตยสารข่าวรายสัปดาห์ทั้งสองฉบับ มีการวิพากษ์สื่อในเรื่องใด ประเด็นใดบ้าง และมีวิธีการนำเสนอในแต่ละประเด็นอย่างไร นอกจากนี้ ยังศึกษาวิธีการวิพากษ์สื่อของนิตยสารทั้งสองฉบับว่ามีวิธีการวิพากษ์ครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ตามทฤษฎีวิพากษ์หรือไม่ และได้ทำหน้าที่สนับสนุนให้มีการตรวจสอบกันเองในวงการสื่อหรือไม่ โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาคอลัมน์ และสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึกบรรณาธิการและคอลัมนิสต์ของนิตยสารทั้งสองฉบับ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า : 1. คอลัมน์วิพากษ์สื่อในนิตยสารข่าวรายสัปดาห์ทั้งสองฉบับมีความสนใจในกลุ่มประเด็นที่คล้ายคลึงกัน ในจำนวนใกล้เคียงกัน เช่น กลุ่มประเด็นความเคลื่อนไหวในวงการสื่อ, กลุ่มประเด็นการตรวจสอบจริยธรรม จรรยาบรรณ และการนำเสนอข่าวของสื่อ และกลุ่มประเด็นการแทรกแซงสื่อ 2. คอลัมน์วิพากษ์สื่อในนิตยสารทั้งสองฉบับ มีวิธีการนำเสนอที่หลากหลายแตกต่างกัน เช่น มติชนสุดสัปดาห์ จะเน้นการสัมภาษณ์บุคคล และรายงานความเคลื่อนไหว ส่วนสยามรัฐสัปดาห์วิจารณ์จะเน้นการอ้างอิงแหล่งข่าว ใช้การวิเคราะห์เพื่อตั้งข้อสังเกต เป็นต้น 3. คอลัมน์วิพากษ์สื่อในนิตยสารทั้งสองฉบับมีวิธีการวิพากษ์ตามทฤษฎีวิพากษ์ไม่สมบูรณ์ แต่ก็มีส่วนสนับสนุนการตรวจสอบกันเองของคนในวงการสื่อ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The Objective of the research was to study contents on media criticism of Matichon weekend and Siamrat Weekly magazines by analysing subjects, issues and presentations in both columns. Furthermore, the process of criticism was applied in order to evaluate the performances of criticism appeared in both columns, as well as to examine the impacts of the columns in self - regulation of the media. The research employed content analysis and depth - interview with editors and columnists of the two columns. The findings of research were as follows : 1. The criticism columns in both magazines concerned similar issues, for example movements in media, media ethic examination, intervention of the media 2. The criticism columns in both magazines showed various presentations, For instance Matichon weekend focused on interviewing and reporting the media movement, While Siamrat Weekly focused on news source and made observation. 3. Both columns performed incomplete criticism process, however, they reflected attempts in supporting media self - regulation.
