Abstract
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการนำเสนอคดีปกปิดทรัพย์สินของ พ.ต.ท. ทักษิณ ชินวัตร ที่ปรากฎในรายงานข่าวและบทความของหนังสือพิมพ์รายวัน 4 ชื่อฉบับ คือ ประชาชาติธุรกิจ มติชน ไทยรัฐ และไทยโพสต์ นอกจากนี้ยังศึกษาวาทกรรมที่ใช้ในการเสนอข่าวดังกล่าวโดยให้ความชอบธรรมกับแนวทางพิจารณาด้านรัฐศาสตร์และนิติศาสตร์อย่างไร ซึ่งการเสนอวาทกรรมตามแนวคิดทั้งสอง มีส่วนสะท้อนวัฒนธรรมการเมืองอย่างไรบ้าง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบที่ใช้นำเสนอคดีปกปิดทรัพย์สินของ พ.ต.ท. ทักษิณ ชินวัตรมากที่สุด คือรูปแบบการรายงานข่าว การสร้างวาทกรรมของสื่อมวลชนเป็นผลมาจากปัจจัยสองประการคือปัจจัยภายในคือ การทำงานด้านข่าว ความคิด ความเชื่อ ทัศนคติและนโยบายของสถาบัน และปัจจัยภายนอก คือสังคม เศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรม ล้วนมีส่วนกำหนดวาทกรรมของสื่อมวลชนในการสร้างความจริงต่อการใช้วาทกรรมทางด้านนิติศาสตร์และรัฐศาสตร์ โดยสื่อมวลชนเลือกใช้วาทกรรมรัฐศาสตร์มากกว่าวาทกรรมนิติศาสตร์อันสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าวัฒนธรรมการเมืองไทยมีลักษณะลื่นไหล สามารถเปลี่ยนกลับไปกลับมาได้ ดังนั้น จึงสรุปได้ว่าเมื่อวัฒนธรรมการเมืองของไทยมีลักษณะที่ลื่นไหลและให้ความชอบธรรมกับหลักรัฐศาสตร์มากกว่าหลักนิติศาสตร์แล้ว สื่อมวลชนซึ่งมีหน้าที่ผลิตวาทกรรมเพื่อสร้างความรู้และความจริงให้กับสังคมก็จะมีแนวโน้มเลือกผลิตซ้ำวาทกรรมรัฐศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับสภาพวัฒนธรรมการเมืองไทย
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The purpose of this research is to study the reporting of Thaksin Shinawatra's undisclosed assets that had appeared on four newspapers: Prachachart Turakit, Matichon, Thairath, and Thai Post. More over, this research is to study: 1. How the discourse in news reporting reflected the legitimate in view of political and legal consideration. 2. How the discourse reflected political culture. The result indicates that the method used widely in presenting this case was news reporting. The discourse issued by media is on 2 main factors : internal and external. The internal factors were news reporting, belief, perspective and intitutional policies. The external factors were society, economy and culture. These factors, influenced on media discourse also established the "construction of reality" on political and legal discourse. Since the political discourse is more preferable than the legal one, it reflected the flexibility of Thai politics. In consequence, it can be assumed that Thai political culture is also flexible and renders legitimate to political more than legal angle. Media had its duty to reproduce the discourse to establish the knowledge and the "construction of reality" to the society. There is a tendency to reproduce the political discourse which is supported the current political culture.
