Abstract

ความล่าช้าในการแสดงผลเป็นอุปสรรคในการพัฒนาระบบพาณิชย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และยังส่งผลกระทบต่อประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานกับระบบ หากความล่าช้าเพิ่มมากขึ้น จะส่งผลให้ประสิทธิภาพของการทำงานลดลง อีกทั้งความล่าช้าที่เพิ่มขึ้นนั้น ยังส่งต่อความรู้สึกของผู้ใช้ที่มีต่อระบบนั้นด้วย ด้วยเหตุนี้ผู้พัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศจึงได้นำข้อมูลป้อนกลับมาใช้เพื่อแก้ปัญหาความล่าช้านี้ ดังนั้นงานวิจัยนี้จึงมุ่งศึกษาผลกระทบของ (1) ความล่าช้าในการแสดงผล (2) การใช้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับ และ (3) รูปแบบของเมนู ที่มีต่อ (1) ความถูกต้องของการใช้งานระบบ (Correctness) (2) การรับรู้ถึงความหน่วง (Perception of Delay) หรือ (3) ความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานระบบ (Satisfaction) ซึ่งวัดจากคะแนนที่ได้จากการทำโจทย์และจากการตอบแบบสอบถามของหน่วยทดลอง งานวิจัยนี้ได้เลือกหน่วยทดลองที่เป็นนิสิตปริญญาตรีของ คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชีแห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จำนวนทั้งหมด 356 คน โดยทดลองผ่านเว็บไซต์ http://moviesearch.acc.chula.ac.th ผลการวิเคราะห์ พบว่า ผลกระทบของความล่าช้าในการแสดงผลต่อ (1) ความถูกต้องของการใช้งานระบบ (2) การรับรู้ถึงความหน่วง และ (3) ความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานระบบ มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ทว่าการใช้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับและรูปแบบของเมนูไม่มีผลกระทบต่อ (1) ความถูกต้องของการใช้งานระบบ (2) การรับรู้ถึงความหน่วง และ (3) ความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานระบบ งานวิจัยนี้ช่วยต่อยอดทฤษฎีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์กับคอมพิวเตอร์ในบริบทของผู้ใช้ในประเทศไทย และยังเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้พัฒนาเว็บไซต์ที่สามารถใช้ข้อค้นพบเพื่อปรับปรุงและพัฒนาเว็บไซต์ให้เหมาะสมและมีความสามารถใช้งานได้

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Delay in display is a major obstacle in developing electronic commerce systems. It affects efficiency of the systems. The more delay, the less efficiency. In addition, this delay also affects the way users feel about the systems. Feedback is brought to alleviate these problems. As a result, this research aims at examining the effects of (1) delay of display, (2) use of feedback and (3) menu formats on (1) correctness of system usage (2) perception of delay and (3) users' satisfaction. These variables were measured in a lab setting. The experimental website was http://moviesearch.acc.chula.ac.th and the experimental units were 356 undergraduates in the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy at Chulalongkorn University. The analysis's result indicated that the impact of delay in displaying information on (1) correctness of system usage (2) perception of delay and (3) users' satisfaction were statistically significant at the 0.05 level. However, neither did the impact of feedback usage nor did that of menu formats on these three variables were statistically significant. The results have extended human computer interaction theories in the context of Thai users. Also, practitioners can apply the results to design a more usable website.
