Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยายบุกเบิก (Exploratory descriptive research)มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการใช้การบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพ (Balanced scorecard) กับ (1) การควบคุมทางการจัดการ (Management control) และ (2) การสื่อสารกลยุทธ์ในองค์กร (Strategy communication) โดยมีบริษัทที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยที่ใช้การบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพจำนวน 18 องค์กร เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย และมีผู้บริหารตั้งแต่ระดับต้นขึ้นไปเป็นหน่วยให้ข้อมูล การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลกระทำด้วยแบบสอบถาม สถิติทดสอบที่ใช้สำหรับการวิจัยนี้ คือ การทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยโดยสถิติทดสอบที (t-test) และการคำนวณหาค่าสหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน (Pearson Correlation Coefficient) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่ เห็นว่าการบริหารเชิงคุณภาพเป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้เพื่อการประเมินผลการดำเนินงานองค์กร รองลงมา เห็นว่าเป็นเครื่องมือสำหรับการนำกลยุทธ์ไปปฏิบัติ และประเมินผลการปฏิบัติงานของพนักงานตามลำดับ ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่จะได้รับข้อมูลหรือการฝึกอบรมเกี่ยวกับการบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพจากองค์กร และส่วนใหญ่จะมีส่วนร่วมในการออกแบบการบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพ โดยการกำหนดแผนงาน และแผนปฏิบัติ รองลงมามีส่วนร่วมในการกำหนดตัวชี้วัด และกำหนดเป้าหมายระดับองค์กร ความคิดเห็นของผู้ตอบเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิผลของการบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพ พบว่า ผู้ตอบในกลุ่มองค์กรที่ใช้การบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพตั้งแต่ 2 ปี ขึ้นไป เห็นว่าการบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพมีประสิทธิผลมากกว่าในกลุ่มองค์กรที่ใช้การบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพน้อยกว่า 2 ปี เล็กน้อย แต่อยู่ในระดับมีประสิทธิผลมากทั้งสองกลุ่ม ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่าการใช้การบริหารเชิงดุลยภาพไม่สามารถทำให้ประสิทธิผลการควบคุมทางการจัดการและการสื่อสารกลยุทธ์เพิ่มขึ้นได้ในระยะเวลา 2 ปี และการทดสอบความสัมพันธ์พบว่าประสิทธิผลการควบคุมทางการจัดการและการสื่อสารกลยุทธ์มีความสัมพันธ์กันสูง (r=0.807)

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research is to investigate relationships among organization's use of balanced scorecard, management control, and strategy communication. The data was collected using the questionnaires, then was analyzed by statistics methods; t-test, and Pearson Correlation. The population of this research were organizations registered in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and have adopted balanced scorecard to their organizations. The first finding showed that most organizations used balanced scorecard as their organizational performance measurement, as a tool to transform strategy into actions, and as an evaluation tool toward employee's performance, respectively. Further, most manager have educated and trained balanced scorecard from their own organizations. In the process of balanced scorecard design, most manager have participated in preparing strategic initiatives and action plans, defining organizational key performance indicators and setting organizational objectives, respectively. Both manager in different organization groups which have adopted balanced scorecard for more and less than 2 years were able to recognize effectiveness of the balanced scorecard itself in high level, whereas balanced scorecard as a management control and strategy communication were not believed to show significant improvement within 2 years time after it was adopted. Finally, the finding shows there is significant correlation between management control and strategy communication (r=0.807).
