Abstract

ศึกษาสถานภาพปัจจุบันของชนิดพันธุ์ปลาทะเลสวยงามที่นำเข้าเพื่อการค้าในประเทศไทย โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากชนิดพันธุ์ปลาที่มีการนำมาแสดงหรือจำหน่าย พร้อมทั้งทำการสัมภาษณ์โดยตรงจากสถานแสดงพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำ 5 แห่ง และร้านค้าปลีกปลาสวยงาม 10 ร้าน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปลาทะเลสวยงามที่นำมาใช้ส่วนใหญ่เป็นปลาที่จัดซื้อภายในประเทศ เนื่องจากความสะดวกในการขนส่งและราคาที่เหมาะสม ทั้งนี้ สถานแสดงพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำของรัฐนิยมใช้ปลาจากภายในประเทศ ขณะที่สถานแสดงพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำเอกชน รวมถึง ร้านค้าปลีกมีการนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศ โดยที่ปลาบางชนิดเป็นชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นที่มีประวัติการรุกรานภายในประเทศอื่นมาแล้ว เช่น ปลา Dascyllus aruanus เป็นต้น นอกจากนั้น การนำปลาจากธรรมชาติซึ่งมีพฤติกรรมการกินอาหารที่หลากหลายมาจัดแสดงหรือจัดจำหน่ายในพื้นที่กักขังจำเป็นต้องมีการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมให้เหมาะสมกับสถานที่เลี้ยง โดยเฉพาะพฤติกรรมการกินอาหาร ทั้งนี้ สถานภาพของการนำเข้าชนิดพันธุ์ปลาทะเลจากต่างประเทศในปัจจุบันยังไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศของประเทศมากนัก เนื่องมาจากปริมาณการนำเข้ายังมีน้อย อย่างไรก็ตาม หากปริมาณการนำเข้าเพิ่มมากขึ้น โอกาสส่งผลกระทบย่อมสูงขึ้นเช่นกัน จึงควรจัดระบบตรวจติดตามและทำการศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่องต่อไป

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Current status of imported marine fish species in Thailand were investigated at five public/private aquariums and ten retail aquarium fish shops. The results showed that majority of marine aquarium fish sold and/or displayed in aquariums were from inside the country due to the convenience and price. However, some private aquariums and retail aquarium fish shops imported some fish species into Thailand, and some of them were recorded as an invasive species in other countries, such as Dascyllus aruanus. Nevertheless, most feeding behaviors of imported fish for aquarium purpose have been altered by changing their food types to suit with aquarium systems or tanks. At present, the impact of imported marine fish on the local marine ecosystems was still unknown because overall numbers of imported marine fish were still low. However, monitoring of the accidental releasing and escaping of imported fish is needed for future protection and management of invasions in Thailand.
