Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ เพื่อ ๑) ศึกษาสถานภาพทั่ว ๆ ไปของครู ๒) ศึกษาการใช้ครูด้านต่าง ๆ ต่อไปนี้คือ การปฏิบัติงานของครู ปัญหาการใช้ครู การใช้ครูด้านอื่น ๆ ที่มิใช่การสอน การใช้ครูไม่ตรงตามวุฒิ ๓) ประมาณค่าความสูญเปล่าทางการศึกษาที่มีสาเหตุมาจากการลาของครู วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ดำเนินการเลือกตัวอย่างประชากร ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ครูและผู้บริหารโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา โดยวิธีสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น จากแต่ละภาคภูมิศาสตร์ของประเทศไทย ได้ตัวอย่างประชากรที่เป็นผู้บริหาร ๕๗ คน และครู ๑,๑๓๘ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสถานภาพในการปฏิบัติงานของผู้ตอบ การใช้ครู และความคิดเห็นต่อการปฏิบัติงานของครู แบบสอบถามนี้ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเอง โดยผ่านการตรวจสอบของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และผ่านการทดลองใช้มาหนึ่งครั้ง การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน แล้วนำเสนอข้อมูลในรูปตารางกึ่งบรรยาย ผลของการวิจัย ๑. ในด้านการปฏิบัติงานของครู ครูส่วนใหญ่สอนตรงกับวิชาเอก มีจำนวนชั่วโมงการสอนอยู่ระหว่าง ๑๖-๒๐ ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์ ทำหน้าที่ครูประจำชั้น ๑-๕ ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์ ทำงานด้านอื่น ๆ ที่ไม่ใช่การสอนหรืองานประจำชั้น ๑-๕ ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์ และเตรียมการสอนล่วงหน้าตลอดสัปดาห์ ๒. ในด้านปัญหาการใช้ครู ผู้บริหารโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ประสบปัญหามีครูไม่เพียงพอ ครูมีความสามารถไม่ตรงกับวิชาที่สอน และครูไม่ชอบสอนในบางวิชา ๓. ผู้บริหารและครูส่วนใหญ่มีความพอใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลางต่อการปฏิบัติงานของครู ๔. รัฐต้องสูญเสียเงินไปเนื่องจากการลาของครู ในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๑๙ ถึง ๑๒,๘๓๒,๒๘๐.๕๐ บาท หรือเฉลี่ยคนละ ๓๗๒.๔๙ บาท และโดยเฉลี่ยครูมีวันลาคนละ ๕.๖๒ วันต่อปี

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this research were to investigate the general status of secondary school teachers, study the teacher utilization and estimate the educational wastage due to the teachers’ absence from work. Fifty seven administrators and one thousand one hundred and thirty eight teachers at secondary education level were stratified randomly selected to answer the teacher utilization questionnaire which was constructed by the researcher. The questionnaire was improved after trial and then approved by the experts. The obtained data was analyzed by means of percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The resulting analysis showed that : 1. Most teachers taught the subjects that were their major fields of study. Their average teaching loads were 16-20 hours per week. Besides they had to spend 1-5 hours doing classroom work and 1-5 hours doing other duty. Most teachers always prepared their lesson one week beforehand. 2. Most administrators had problems concerning the teachers such as lack of teachers, and get unqualified teachers, etc. 3. Most administrators and teachers fairly satisfied with the teachers’ work. 4. The educational wastage due to the teachers’ absence from work was about 12,832,280.59 baht per year or 372.49 baht per head per year. Each teacher had about 5.62 days per year in absence from work.
